Peaceful, restful with a caring owner.

A total gem, a peaceful rural retreat after a busy sightseeing day in Avignon. Our room was cool, spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. Mas de Capelou is an old monastic retreat and it retains a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere.
We had breakfast on the lawn, listening to birdsong and drinking delicious pear juice from the orchard that we overlooked. If you’re looking for somewhere that differs from the usual corporate hotels you’ll find it at Mas de Capelou.

A haven of peace just outside Avignon

Magnificent Hotel located just outside Avignon. Tastefully restored old family home and huge garden spaces to relax reading a book, having a drink or enjoying the scenery simply.
Spacious rooms, -also has apartments- decorated with simplicity but good taste. Showers and large beds. Full mini bar Service.
Very good breakfast buffet.
Well preserved swimming pool.
A car battery charger in the parking lot.
The owner (Valérie) is lovely and always attentive to any detail.
Own restaurant, located in the garden, with African reminiscences, commanded by the owner’s children with varied tapas, cocktails of all kinds (some really surprising) and extensive wine list.
Quality/price of both restaurant and hotel highly recommended.
To come back without a doubt

Muchísimas gracias por su maravilloso comentario Nos alegra enormemente saber que disfrutaron tanto de la casa, el jardín y la piscina, así como del restaurante en el que mis hijos ponen todo su cariño.
Es un verdadero placer recibir huéspedes que saben apreciar el ambiente familiar y tranquilo del Mas.

Idyllic stay!

Idyllic stay in this family establishment, which makes all the difference!
The room is spacious, comfortable and perfectly clean.
The breakfast is excellent, composed of quality local products.
The location, quiet in nature, is ideal for walking and rejuvenating.
The restaurant adjoining the Mas is equally remarkable.
In addition, the city centre of Avignon is only a few minutes away.
In summary: an exceptional stay that I highly recommend!

Wonderful stay in the Armille apartment

Valerie is a wonderful host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Armille apartment. We spent four nights there in mid-June, and the apartment was fantastic — clean, spacious, comfortable, and well air-conditioned, which was especially appreciated during the warm weather.
We also enjoyed multiple meals at the nearby restaurant La Brousse. Eating great food and sipping delicious drinks out on the grass added to the serenity of the experience. If we return to the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
