Unforgettable flavors for a special moment.

An unexpected stop in this beautiful place after a walk near the mountain: a gastronomic break full of surprises! We chose the menu consisting of a "Chilled Green Asparagus Velouté" that was to die for (the asparagus tagliatelle was so crunchy: how do they do it?!). The grilled lobster was a true delight (a first for me ). "The reinvented Snickers" to top it all off is a pure wonder!
Everything was served with a smile and with great care. The dining team has eyes everywhere and is highly responsive. Like musicians on cue!
Not to mention the background music composed of romantic tunes that we love.
A big thank you for your attention on the occasion of my birthday!

Overpriced and overrated hotel

If you want to feel like you were totally ripped off, then you should stay at this place. It is at most a 3-star hotel, but somehow they received a 5-star rating. The hotel is right on the main road and across from an RV park. It has zero charm and virtually no common areas. As you enter, it’s just a small room with a reception desk and 2 chairs. The rest of the common space is their overpriced and mediocre restaurant. The whole place feels like a nursing home and it smells everywhere. The stairway smells of mold, the room also smells.

Dear Sir,
I thank you for your stay at the Ermitage Hotel and for your feedback.
You was asking to leave one day before because you want to go to Saint-Malo. Like it was not possible to have a refund of the second night, as the sales conditions says, you was not nice and you try to make a pressure on us.
Just to remember you, your Suite was more than 40 m² (please tell me last time you saw a 3 stars hotel with this side of room), the reception size is at the size of the Hotel, we have 1 room & 6 Suites, so we don't need more than a desk with marble and wood, 2 seats in the front and 2 seats on the side when we have a family.
The 5 stars are given by the French governement base on the list of 243 criteria. In this list, you have the size of the room, the equipment and the service. Just to remember you, you use the service of our concierge Jean-Marc. This service is not inside a 3 stars hotel for example.
You have the right to don't like the decoration like everywhere, it's subjective.
You forgot to mention that you have a Lounge Bar La Roseraie which is 60 m² with more than 60 rose bushes.
The flagrance on the room is the same of the whole hotel. It's from HD Frangrances and it's Nuage de Miel. I'm sorry you don't like it.
For the Restaurant, we are in the MICHELIN Guide since 2 years. You select some expensive products like lobster (same rate than similar Restaurant with a 600-800 g category) and a Meursault wine at 129 euros. We are on the same rate than other Restaurant serving Meursault. Our wine selection starts from 29 euros, our starter from 16 euros, main courses from 29 euros and dessert from 14 euros. We also have a 3 courses menu at 55 euros.

Extremely disappointing

Staff not present, decor old and dilapidated; the only thing up to 5-star standards is its price.

A gem! From check in to check out, you’re hosted by the owner to create a truly unique experience. The food was amazing, the wine, the cheeses, we highly recommend it all!

Amazing service!

We had a wonderful stay at Ermitage. The room was lovely and quiet with a big comfortable bed and huge bath. Great location for Mont Saint Michel. We had a fantastic dinner and buffet breakfast with lots of options from the local area and eggs to order. The service we received from Werner and all the staff was fantastic, so welcoming and friendly. We would love to come back!
