In a word top
Especially host Fabrice is a perfect host without being intrusive. We had a very nice time and enjoyed it. Definitely worth a recommendation. We were very impressed that Fabrice had arranged a mobile air conditioning system in addition to a fan with the very hot weather to cool our room properly; that is good service!

A Beautiful Experience
I stumbled across La Maison Leonard when I was looking for a place to stay near the Chateau de Chenonceau. It looked perfect and it turned out to be exactly that.
This charming hotel is run by the lovely Fabrice and Thierry. From the moment we booked we were kept informed as to where to come, what to expect.
From start to finish we were made to feel more than welcomed by Fabrice, Thierry and their lovely dog Ludwig. The building is beautifully decorated, pristinely clean and feels so comfortably like home. There are 5 parking spaces, one for each room and a lovely garden where we were invited to enjoy a glass of bubbly on arrival.
The rooms are individually designed, ours being the Blue Room. Every little detail has been considered, from deliciously scented, organic shampoo and shower gel to soft, high count cotton bed linen and beautiful porcelain coffee cups. We both slept like babies on pillows like clouds.
Breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit salad followed by perfect scrambled egg, fresh croissants and a choice of jams made by Thierry’s mother. A selection of yoghurts, French toast and cakes were also available. Everything just right and described by Fabrice in the most enchanting way.
If you’re staying midweek, dinner is also available - 4 courses for €29 per person and it’s an absolute bargain. Starter, Main, Cheese and then pudding, all freshly cooked by the couple, with love.
I think that’s the thing I loved most about this lovely hotel. Everything is done with love. Fabrice and Thierry have created an oasis of care and comfort. Guests, they report, return again and again and I’m certainly not surprised by this. We will certainly return when we next visit France. If you’re looking to be pampered between visits to chateaux and wine tastings then I highly recommend La Maison Leonard.

At front spacious plenty of light and sun direct in afternoon.Most important high quality comfortable mattress.Expresso coffeee machine provided.Bottled water daily.Organic artisanal toiletries.Dressing gowns provided

Fabrice very hands on - welcoming engaging and anticipates your needs.
Food
Breakfast superb - fresh fruit oat dried fruit cereal french toast brioche croissant freshly pressed orange juice and marriage freres teas -more than ten varieties
Diiner was also served -a four course dinner (incl chesse) as in house dining a bonus - the prawn in ginger and garlic
bouillon pork fillet mignon and Concorde dessert was a highlight
The outdoor garden was perfect for an aperitif in the evening with or without dinner
