Good step

This Campanile is close to the highway and easy to reach. The area is quiet.
The staff is professional. We enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast.

Step to avoid.

Good location for a stopover and friendly welcome. That's all the positive things to remember.
Accessible room: cramped room (a wheelchair cannot move around). Fried food smell in the room, air conditioning set to 30°C during a heatwave!! Missing light bulb in the bathroom = we can barely see in the mirror. Dirty toilet (see photo). Kettle available full of limescale (see photo).
Restaurant: avoid if you are in a hurry = 1 hour wait for the order to be taken and 45 minutes to be served with a plate returned from the kitchen because the meat was overcooked (requested rare) and the fries were undercooked!! Fortunately, the neighboring tables were in the same situation = we shared bread and joked together.
General cleaning needs to be reviewed (see photo).

Disappointing

Very disappointed with this hotel. The rooms was very cramped and had a horrible smell. The whole place looked tired and tatty. Staff were slow in dealing with check in. The evening meal was poor value and we had to ask staff for the drinks we'd ordered as they forgot about them. The location was good for us but we wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend it.

Cheap for a reason.

To be honest, we didn’t actually stay here. It looked so awful when we arrived we decided to forego our money and stay elsewhere. Location wise, this place would only be suitable I think if all you want to do is sleep as it is close to motorways but 20 mins from the town itself, which is an amazing old town and well worth a visit.. This hotel is very cheap, but for a reason - it actually looks like a prison!
(We got an excellent hotel in the centre of town - the OKKO - which I would highly recommend.)
