Disappointment at Villa d'Alivu di Calvi
The breakfast advertised "with local produce" in our Lonely Planet guide was really disappointing: jam Bonne Maman in 2 large jars, nothing local , neither cold cuts nor cheese. We asked for 2 eggs, the answer was no... For a night at 150 euros, it left us thinking .... The hosts were preparing to receive influencers: will they be more spoiled than us? But what bothered us most was the noise: radio , phone calls made by the owners by the pool and intimate conversations with their friends... We had come looking for calm and rest and regretted the lack of discretion of the hosts. This is the first time this has happened to us in a guest room. Children under 12 are "forbidden"... We would have preferred the joy of children playing in the pool to the private and telephone conversations of our guests....
