Charming place

We were greeted this BeB by the hostess who lives directly in the house. There are 4 rooms, each with its own bathroom and a terrace overlooking the castle where you can make a tea and enjoy the peace of this medieval country. The staircase is quite steep and makes you jump into the past. Breakfast is carefully prepared by her and makes you feel at home. Recommended

Cute b&b

A really cute little b&b, run by a lovely lady who I don't think speaks English, but I got by in french. Room was spotlessly clean, with a nice shower and comfortable bed. The rooftop terrace is a winner, there is coffee, tea and water provided and you have a great view of the castle. Breakfast is served to you by Madame, croissants, bread, fruit, yogurt and juice. In a quiet street, no traffic, but if you have the windows open at the front it could be echoey. No.comllaimtd at all, great spot.

Great location, lovely host, unique property

Great B&B, fab location just a short distance from The Old Bridge, the local square - Place Carnot, the train station, the bus station, and, of course, the castle.
The property is down a street that is closed off from cars.
At first glance, it may look intimidating as most of the properties are under construction. However, the street is very well-lit at night and is popular for people to stroll through on their way to The Bridge.
The lovely lady who owns, lives in, and runs the property, is a great French host. She uses a translator on her phone to chat - which is a bonus!
I am sure she said the house was built in the 1700s. All the rooms have enormously high ceilings!
There are 5 double bedrooms over 3 floors which are rented out.
The stairs are very characterful and atmospheric. Dark, old, windy and creaky! (approx 20 steps up to each floor). They lead to the top floor where a small outside terrace has been created. Wonderful views! A coffee machine and seating area are available up there for a lovely afternoon rest.
Breakfast is a bowl of mixed fruit, croissant, bread, yoghurt, orange juice, butter, and jam with coffee or tea.
The rooms are spacious with en-suite.
My double bed was a bit squeaky but not uncomfortable. Large TV, towels, and robes were available.
My room also had lovely authentic shutters to the windows.
I would recommend it if you want to stay in a bit of the local history and enjoy the culture.

Bom atendimento

Fui muito bem recebida, por uma senhora fantástica, chamada Brigitte. Gostei do quarto: era muito aconchegante. Tudo muito limpinho. O pequeno almoço foi muito saboroso... O terraço é agradável com chá e café à disposição. Recomendo!

Bom atendimento e localização

Gostámos muito da Brigitte. Foi muito atenciosa e acolhedora connosco. Tivemos direito a café, chá e rebuçados. O pequeno almoço era bom. A localização é muito boa. Boa relação qualidade/preço. O quarto tinha boas condições, só não gostámos das escadas. Adorei o duche ☺️
