Loved Chamonix
We really loved this penthouse apartment. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Walking distance to the town and the gondola. Fully garnished kitchen although we hardly used it. The owner even lent me a yoga mat and some weights. Washer and dryer in the basement. Communication was outstanding. The owner was so responsive.
Coffee shop next door served a delicious breakfast. Went to Mumma, an Asian Restaurant in town and loved it!. Also had dinner at Josephine's Bistro - very nice. Weekend outdoor market not to be missed!

Just a Perfect place to enjoy Chamonix Mont Blanc
When you travel to a place you haven’t been before you trust your intuition to choose a place to stay unless its some big names where you know its good or bad.
We have booked Villa Mont Blanc as it was nice looking on photos with enough rooms and beds for us. Also it looked all nice and clean so I did not even bother to check any previous ratings or reviews.
From a very beginning the owner made a contact welcoming us with a booking and she was a great help and assistance during our stay.
The accommodation itself perfectly fits to the enviromnent and atmosphere of a town with its fireplace and all timber interior in style. All amenities there when you need them, all clean and ready, great views from the balcony and room windows.
If you are a party of 3-4 its a great place to stay and for sure we’ll be back there.

Superb!
Just back from a 4 day break at Villa Montblanc. It was absolutely superb! The location couldn't be any better; walking distance of the town and only a very short drive to other villages.
The chalet was excellently equipped and roomy for 5 adults self-catering. The terrace was particularly nice to sit out on of an evening, sun setting over Mont Blanc.
Free, secure parking was also another huge bonus (even if I did lose the car when trying to return to it the next morning!), especially on Marathon du Mont Blanc weekend.
Not a single negative and we'll be re-booking when we next visit Chamonix. Thanks Ashley and Amanda for your greeting, all your assistance and maintaining a superb property! See you again soon.

excellent choice for a family
The best!
First and foremost, the owner (Amanda) is the most hospitable person on the planet - she went out of her way to host us in Chamonix, helping us in any way possible - finding gluten-free restaurants, tips for hiking (even dropped us off at the beginning of one and picked us up later that evening, after turning the sauna on for us in advance...!)
The property is in excellent shape, clean, well equipped (including a fully equiped kitchen) with a breath-taking view.
Walking distance (a few minutes) from anywhere in Chamonix.
We were a family of 5 and the apartment was perfect.

Excellent choice in Chamonix-Montblanc
Chamonix-Montblanc is much more than a lovely small mountain village. In the valley of Montblanc massif, the city is very picturesque. It is charming, elegant, and, at least in January, completely white and grey, although vibrant, especially in the after ski time. Villa Montblanc, the apartments, carries a sort of Scandinavian charm. Very well located, the apartment (ours was the Terrace one) is quiet, warm and ultra-clean (meaning cleanliness and also, the beautiful Nordic decorative style). Kitchen is complete and very functional - all the furniture and kitchenware by Ikea; kitchen wardrobe by Ittala. Everything seems brand new, and it’s imperative when renting some place. The bathrooms are very good, even the small one. Towels and linens are white, clean and new, like in hotels. The free Wi-Fi internet is okay, and the Finnish sauna is the ideal place to recover yourself after a freezing day. There is a lot of wood for the fireplace stored in the basement, where you can do the laundry and find any stuff you might need, from matches to tissue paper, from soap to more clean towels. There is a parking lot close to the apartment where you can park your car away from the snow. Trust me: it is very important during the wintertime.
Opening the windows early in the morning is priceless: you can see the Montblanc itself and also Le Télépherique climbing the mountain to the impressive Aiguille du Midi (a must to see atraction). The Montenvers train station which leaves you at the awe-inspiring Mer de Glace, two hyped and crowded after ski bars with live music and dance, and the centreville, with plenty of restaurants and shops, all of them are at walking distance. Even a ski station itself is close to Villa Montblanc - Les Planards, very convenient for the beginners and also for out ski snow leisure.
Amanda Jackson, the owner, is welcoming and supportive, assuring your wellness during the whole stay. We stayed there for 6 days. The apartment was full cleaned in the morning of the 3rd day, and towels were replaced.
Villa Montblanc is a place to be highly recommended and also to be visited again in the future.
