Exceptional hosts

Mishka and Tom were some of the friendliest hosts I have ever encountered! Whether it be baking us cake when we came off the slopes or tumble drying our soaking coats for us, their hospitality was exceptional. The hostel itself is very clean and had a kitchen that was very well equipped. Our room was small but very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Not to be trusted, if you want to go on a skiing holiday.

Michaela at the hostel cannot be trusted to make and honour your bookings.
Michaela admitted to double booking, but despite being the first to book we were left stranded with flights but no accommodation .
Despite asking, we were given no explanation as to why the other parties booking was given preference to ours.
Maybe it was because they booked the whole hostel for the week, but we 13 only booked it for 3 nights.

This is a pure lie, what are you saying here.... I've not seen your comment only now, as I do not check trip advisor often, but I remember the whole story very well, as you have given us very hard time. Do you remember, how you have screamed at us? How did you swear, that you will do all the worst, if we do not accommodate you? You have booked your flight tickets in spring time sale and thought to be sure, we will have a place for you, even not promissed. You have never made a reservation, never pre paid for one! Yes, you have stayed with us the previous year and I must say, that it has been a difficult time for us. Loud, not respectful bunch of guys comming on ski trip without their wives thinking they can do anything....the place was a mess! So yes, of course, we were not cancelling other confirmed group and well prepaid becouse you have bought your flight tickets!!! We are not your servants... yo've kept calling us for days to ask us to cancel the other booking because of you! How dare! And just because, you have not got it, you have written this post...

Brilliant place

I havent written a review before now as I wanted to make sure I had a firm booking for 2020 first.
It was the second time that I have stayed here. Other reviewers are correct when they say it is not really a Hostel.
It is in a great location and very convenient for the town amenities.
Rooms are very comfortable and the communal areas superb.
Yes a bit of noise from downstairs but not a problem to us.
The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Great

Haven’t stayed in a hostel since I was a student. Will definitely use this place again. What makes it so good, great even is the warm welcome and friendly professionalism of Tomas and Michaela. They are natural hosts. My room was perfectly adequate and clean .... central location ..... all in all great value.

Mountain bike trip

Central location to town, perfect position for eve food, bakeries and the free local bus to the bike park.
The owners are very good, the hostel is very clean and tidy with everything you could want.
Will definitely be returning
