Very pleasant hotel

The room was very pretty, with a terrace corner, and everything is very clean. The rooms are well soundproofed, with no disturbing noise.

Disappointment

This establishment is located in a peripheral area of the city, near the highway and several unattractive national roads. Although it is a recent hotel, the decoration of the rooms lacks charm, especially with those small blue tiles in the bathrooms that are disappointing, and the mattresses are quite uncomfortable; for a 4-star establishment, this is quite limited!!! The dining experience evidently has a chain character.
The value for money has significantly decreased. A major problem has persisted for 2 years: the managers change at a rapid pace, moving from one to another very quickly. It is therefore impossible to form a team of professionals due to excessive turnover, which the clients suffer the consequences of; beware, the roadway is slippery.

Toutes nos chambres sont récentes et équipées d'une literie entièrement neuve, choisie pour offrir un confort optimal. Quant à la décoration, nous comprenons qu'elle puisse être une question de goût. Nous prenons également bonne note de vos remarques concernant la restauration et vous remercions pour vos retours, qui nous aident à poursuivre nos efforts d'amélioration. Nice Hotel for Transit Route Stay

Nice rooms , very clean, good and fresh food and breakfast. Super parking garage wirh elevator to the rooms

the perfect stay after a 10 hr drive

We stayed at Hotel Grand Mess for 2 nights on either side of our road trip to Andorra in October 2025. The hotel is perfectly located, very convenient, and surrounded by loads of places to eat although most open in the evening.
Our rooms were fab on both occasions, the breakfast was amazing, fresh and great quality, this felt like a proper french breakfast. The staff were great, we opted to park in the underground car park and paid 10 euro for each night but we could have also parked outside the hotel quite easily as there is ample space on the side too. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back and possibly stay longer too. It was the perfect stop after a 10hr drive from Lichfield, England.

Hotel is on a dodgy retail park near a travelers site dirty bushes etc
Poor food cheap but hard duck and dry chicken
Rooms too hot air con did nothing
Toilet downstairs bed upstairs which are steep and slippy so old and infirm avoid
Would not stay here no idea on the good reviews must be young students as it’s like a student flat cheap furnishings etc
