Absolutely perfect

Stayed 4 nights late Aug early Sept. Quiet period between school holidays and ski season. All the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Our bikes were stored and worked on in the ski room. Lounge was a great place to chill. Honor system for drinks, cycling supplies etc. breakfast laid on every morning was an absolute spread. Rooms recently updated, ensuite and comfy bed. Did I say the staff were amazing? Oh, and the hotel is situated smack in the middle of the best cycling in the world, and we had route maps, Garmins and downloadable routes for all of them. Plus some really cool spots to visit and eat within 3km. Highly recommended, I will be back next year, for longer.

Fabulous hospitality and the views are amazing.

We felt so welcome at Les Aravis. My fiance and I travelled there for a bike trip and the host let us keep our bikes in the main sitting room overnight, offered to pick us up in Megeve, and allowed us to park our enormous camper van in the parking lot. He was so nice and welcoming. I wanted to write this review to say thank you.
It was very pleasant.

Lovely hotel and excellent hospitality

I was referred to this hotel, after my original booking in other hotel was cancelled (the other hotel did overbooking). We were not disappointed being referred to this hotel, as the locations is good, near combloux and megeve, very near to telecabine princesse which have access to megeve ski area. the owner is a very warm person and kind, we chatted lots of things.
Our ski shoes were kept during the night at dry and warm place. The room is ok, it has comfortable bed and great view from the balcony. although it would be better if they have more isolation from the balcony door (a bit cold coming from outside). but overall it's was a very pleasant stay, good breakfast and good wifi.

Great value and great hospitality!

The room is small but cosy with comfortable beds and a very good shower. Breakfast was good with fresh croissants and pain au chocolat along with yoghurt, breads, fruit etc. The owner was very friendly and as there are no free ski buses directly outside the hotel he offered to drive us into the centre of Combloux eavery morning for skiing....great chauffeur service! In the evening we walked 20 mins into Combloux for meals at various high quality restaurants in the centre. A fantastic skiing holiday!!

Beuatiful hotel

We have stayed here twice, both times during the ski season. You do need a car to get to the ski lifts but other than that the location is great, with lovely views over to the mountains. We had a room with a bath which although small was very pretty and had everything we needed. There is no tea or coffee in the room but that is usual in France. The breakfast is typically french as you would expect with fruit, yogurt, croissants and bread. The owners are very friendly and have even kept our ski boots out the back somewhere giving them back to us in the morning having been in a warm place, very cosy to put on! Compared to other 2 star hotels we have stayed in in France this is the best and we will go back again.
