Superb stay.

We spent a few days at the mill and it was pure enchantment. Old mill very well restored, very clean and comfortable room with a balcony and a view of the river. Absolute comfort, large bathroom, well-decorated room. Coffee machine and outlets everywhere for connected devices.
A charming little pool that is always very well maintained and a charming flower garden despite a complicated year for gardening. The staff is very friendly and competent, efficient and discreet.
We were on half-board and we dined twice at the Michelin-starred table. Very well-deserved star. Lovely cuisine with quality, local products. A lot of finesse in the dishes. A rich and well-composed wine cellar. Here again, quality suppliers.
Bravo to the whole team. Everyone was charming and very professional. I highly recommend this establishment; the surroundings are rich in sights and pretty roads, not to mention the superb village of Conques, which is worth the trip on its own.

IMPOSTURE OF CONQUES: A STAR-STARRED SHIPWRECK AND A TOTAL CONTEMPT FOR THE CUSTOMER

Rarely is there such a gap between the prestige displayed and the mediocre reality of an institution. What was to be an exceptional experience in Conques turned into a survival exercise in an abandoned settlement. Absolute shame.
Restaurant service is unworthy of a neighborhood brewery, so for a starred restaurant, it's an insult.
The move to the table was a real shock, and not for the right reasons.
Disposal is carried out with a soiled tray, which is visibly used without prior cleaning to bring the following dishes. A breach of basic hygiene rules, even more unacceptable in a starred restaurant.
The waiting time between each course and about 15 to 20 minutes, no rhythm here in the service. This endless waiting time leaves us plenty of time to observe the cobwebs that colonize the corner of the windows. If the intention was to highlight the "old spirit of the building", this is a failure: it is simply the sign of a non-existent household.
The total absence of service furniture (commodes or sideboards) forces canteen manipulations that border on amateurism.
The walk in the garden confirms the general laissez-passer: discovering a pool whose bottom is littered with dirt completes to discredit the establishment.
The price of the room is a pure provocation to the real standing. They sell us luxury, they deliver us a low-end service, poorly maintained and overpriced.
This establishment lives on a usurped reputation. To pay such a fare for such a dirty service, such an endless wait and an abandoned infrastructure is unacceptable. Such a forfeiture deserves the immediate removal of the star. Absolutely fleeing.

An exceptional weekend!

Second stay two years apart. Fine cuisine in a beautiful sober but efficient decor. Tasting dinner
superb, refined breakfast and bistro lunch at the top. The rooms have been completely redone and perfectly match the 4 star criteria comfort and warmth of the decor and furniture. Welcoming is super pleasant without being hospitable.
Perfect for a romantic stay!

Exceptional!

We stayed one night in this lovely paradise. Everything is perfect. The rooms are very nice and beautifully decorated recently. The very warm Welcoming! The site is magical and the food and breakfast are topsimous. Congratulations on this beautiful establishment. We hope to return to it very soon! Congratulations.
