We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, a charming spot.

This is a very comfortable 8 room chateau with wonderful hosts. The trip advisor references to a restaurant are outdated; it no longer operates. The location is central to the area and its gardens are delightful. We highly recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel and restaurant

We felt very welcome in this hotel. We had a very spacious and comfortable room. We also enjoy the dinner a lot, a bit pricey but worth every penny. We would go back if we come back to this area un the future

The essence of hospitality

Victor and Maria Orsenne look like the kind of people you'd expect to see reading a good novel or browsing through Le Monde at a cafè on the Left Bank in Paris. They have a comfortable, lived-in feel about them which is exactly what their splendid Manoir is like. He seems like a man happy in his kitchen and she fusses around her guests in their small restaurant with stylish efficiency. We stayed in their Pavillion, which is a small outbuilding in the garden. It was comfortable, quiet and led straight on to the garden which was perfect for our pooch. The food is good, cooked to order with fresh, local ingredients. The menu is limited but then there's just two of them and a very nice young man who waits at tables so that's to be expected. Lovely place, lovely couple.

It's not a photoshop!

You see the picture on the website and you tell yourself that it must be a photoshop. This is exactly what the property looks like. Straight out of a fairy tale book. An amazingly beautiful hotel on a huge property. Great and comfortable rooms. The hosts & owners - Maria and Victor are amazing, and Victor doubles as an accomplished cook so I definitely recommend that this is where you have dinner. After which you will retire to the salon and sample a well-stocked whiskey bar.
The hotel is superbly located - you are within 30 min drive of all the big chateaus of the northern Loire - Chambord, Blois, Ambloise, Chenonceau, Cheverny (10 min), Chaumunt.... so it could be your base for a few days!
And don't be deceived by the 3 star rating. It is a 4 star hotel in all but name
