Very average
OK room but the bathroom lacks service two pump bottles which do not work and nothing written on them so it is impossible to know what it contains we are entitled to a bar of soap and an individual sachet of shampoo
Average included breakfast and lack of friendliness
The stud farm, a swimming pool but no towels, worn deckchairs and the weak point the spa lacks service, decoration, furniture no soul the whirlpool does not work and no one warns result we want to get out very quickly

Peaceful
The hotel is deep in the countryside but Google maps got us there - the car park is a decent size and a short walk from reception.
We arrived late afternoon and were offered a cold plate for supper - smoked fish or mixed meats or cheeses - very good indeed! There is no restaurant in the hotel and nothing nearby so this is a good option, available Sunday to Thursday only... For anything else a drive to La Flèche is required.
Breakfast was quite nice though the coffee comes from a machine which I did not like.
The room was very spacious and the bed was first class. The bathroom was also large, with twin hand basins, a good bath and a separate shower (bit small and no tray for toiletries).
There is a TV but only French channels.
WiFi is free but we could only find a connection in the lounge area, nowhere else.
At night there is not a sound to be heard so a peaceful night is in store ...
We enjoyed our stay and will very likely come again next year.

A castle in the countryside, horses in the fields. We claim for quietness, time going slowly and space all around.
If you look for crowded places, late drinks and loud music you were obviously not at the right place.
The atmosphere is exactly the one we want and there is much to do in the area if you are curious enough to enjoy nature, cultural heritage and good living.
We want our guests to feel in a place unaffected by the passing of time. it's a pitty if you missed it

Excellent value for families especially
We really liked the pool and the play ground for the children.
Our room was really spacious.
The staff is really welcoming and seems to be one family.
