Excellent vacation spot
Very good hotel ideally located across from the beach and a 10-minute walk from downtown. Spacious room. Very friendly staff

If only the lift worked....
To be clear, I typically prefer to give good reviews. In this instance, though, I feel compelled to warn other guests—especially those who rely on the lift.
The lift broke down twice, and for most of our three-day stay it was not functioning. While it’s fortunate that no one was trapped, the situation was still a significant health and safety concern for my 90-year-old father-in-law, whose mobility is limited. Because we booked the hotel specifically for lift access, this was particularly disappointing.
What made it even more unpleasant was an overall perceived lack of empathy. To give just one example, as my father-in-law was clearly struggling to descend the staircase, one staff said to us that "the plus point of the lift not working is that it's a sportive vacation"....
Therefore, if you need a lift and you decide to stay here, I strongly recommend booking a ground-floor room to avoid the risk altogether.
Otherwise, the hotel location is great and the restaurant food was good and service cordial. The only other minor downside is that the room can get a little noisy at night due to street traffic—especially in summer, when you may hear cars with loud music or chatty passersby—but nothing so disturbing that it prevented sleep.

Difficult to find better
A wonderful week at this hotel. Situation is perfect, the private parking is adequate, the staff are lovely, the food is French, not a burger in sight - fantastic. Our bedroom and bathroom were large, well furnished and the view is magnificant. We were unable to find fault.

A friendly hotel with ocean views
The beach hotel deserves its name: it has full sea views and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Some rooms have a balcony. The welcome is friendly. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. Private parking is available at the back of the building. A good address to stay in Damgan and enjoy the ocean.

Hotel on top!
I stayed at this hotel for 4 weeks as part of my training, and I couldn’t dream better.
I was greeted with great warmth and kindness. The whole team is caring, always smiling and available, which really makes the difference over a long stay.
My room was comfortable with impeccable cleanliness and a magnificent sea view.
Breakfast is also a real highlight: hearty and varied and even more enjoyable facing the sea.
A very appreciable point also the convenient parking and easy access.
Sincere thanks to the whole team for their hospitality, kindness and professionalism. I recommend this hotel with my eyes closed!
