The rooms are air-conditioned which was a necessity this July.
There is free parking opposite the hotel but for Euro 15 you can park in their indoor garage (limited to 4 spaces though).
The check-in was disorganised as the receptionist walked us to the indoor garage (38 degrees and 100m away) to show us, then walked us back to the hotel, then we drove our car from the free car park opposite to the indoor garage, then walked back again. It would have been more organised to tell us to follow her in the car to avoid the back and forth in such extreme heat!
Although we had paid upfront, we were asked to pay upon arrival. The receptionist said she would get the invoice corrected but in the morning, upon check-out, we were asked again to pay for the room. I had to show proof of payment to them!
However, having said that, the hotel is centrally-located just opposite the start of the pedestrianised old town and the rooms were very cool due to an efficient air-conditioning unit. We did not reserve breakfast as we thought it was expensive at Euro 16 per person. Dole is a lovely place so I would recommend this hotel if you are passing by.

Fine overnight stay
We were here again after about 8 years. But still fine. Clean room, great shower, good breakfast. Fine place for an overnight stay when you are on the road. Incidentally: Dole deserves more attention than we have given.

Extra meal, great apprentice, bad manager, and I am nice!! Otherwise, the rating would be 5/5.
The apprentice Helena was great, but the room manager was distant and seemed annoyed that we arrived while the restaurant was empty and wanted to kick us out at 10 PM; we had to go drink the last digestif coffee at the hotel!!! Very well eaten but service was zero and the bill arrived without us asking for it, very commercial!!

Yes, the foods offered was varied, room very bright I enjoyed having my breakfast every morning.

TO FLEE
The hotel adjoins a large bar with a very large counter. The "myto" boss from the terroir of the Marne launches great sour monologues towards the customers who make her live. With certainty, it reveals the difficulties that poor Champagne winemakers face in surviving with difficulty in this rough world. Pretending to pay charges disproportionate to her income she allowed herself to specify to me by seeing me eat 3 nems at the counter (with her permission) to tell me that she was not ready to taste it because she did not like the grime talking about all the Asian people. After settling my coffee (€2.30) and greeting this princess, she allowed me to rid her counter of my dirty tissue while it was in my pocket. I wish this lady every success in her professional future.
