Paradise on earth for family vacations
We spent three wonderful days in a tent at this campsite, which we highly recommend.
There is a lot of entertainment: pool, kids' club, movies... It is true that you can hear the music from the beach a bit late, but the campsite is not responsible for that and a good pair of earplugs does the trick. Curfew is at 11 p.m., and it was clearly specified to us during the welcome meeting that in case of noisy neighbors we could contact the security guard at night. We didn't need to!
The bar is great, you can find pizzas there in the evening, cheese and charcuterie boards, and delicious crepes. Craft beer. For breakfast, bread and pastries at the grocery store.
The restrooms are very clean.
We thank all the staff (front desk, kids' club, bar, security) for their kindness and professionalism. We are coming back next year!

Restrooms barely worthy of a 2-star hotel
And the campsite doesn't tell you that there is a music festival on the beach with bass blasting until 2 a.m. or even later!!!

Today we left for Normandy after a week. Like many others, we had read the reviews beforehand, some of which were quite negative. In retrospect, we only partly identify with that.
Yes, the shower spray stops quite quickly and you need to press again regularly. At busy times it is sometimes also a bit of a wait for a toilet. However, we have not found an extremely dirty toilet block. The plumbing could perhaps be cleaned a bit more often with a pressure washer, but in general we were fine with it. Don't expect luxury; you'd better book a hotel for that.
The pool is very nice and well maintained. The central bar is also cozy and the pizzas are definitely recommended.
The village itself is not very special, but places like Yvoir and other locations in the area more than make up for that. There is plenty to see and do in the area.
We had also read about noise beforehand. Indeed, there is occasionally something to do on the beach or in the area, usually between 11pm and 1am. We personally have not suffered from that and slept no less for it. Moreover, you will not come here if you are looking for an absolute quiet campsite.
We liked the idea of night surveillance. However, as far as we are concerned, it should be allowed without a golf cart, because that makes unnecessary noise.
All in all we thought it was just a great campsite. Not the most luxurious campsite we have ever visited, but certainly not the bad campsite that some reviews suggest. With realistic expectations you can stay here just fine.

Very noisy.
Avoid for family vacations with young children.

Okay, the sites are in the shade, but if you are looking for peace and quiet, that is not the campsite's motto.
The campsite is caught between a very busy road and the beach.
On our side, it was the road! Cars and motorcycles from morning to night! You almost wonder if there isn't a dealership in the area.
You add to that the airliners... afterwards it can be a game to discover the airlines!
On the beach side it must not be better because we could hear all the entertainment even while being at the back of the campsite...
The campsite staff do come by during the day to check that you are in the right place, but no one at night!
So it’s chaos until about midnight (thanks to the people in 523 who argue every night). No manners and no rules.
It’s not the place to sleep either!
As for facilities, 2 toilets and 3 showers for about thirty pitches... pool nothing crazy.
As you will have understood, do not stop here! Personally, we left early; it was better to lose money than our health by not sleeping and resting!

Noisy, dirty and just horrible..
Worst camping we have ever experienced. We booked 7 nights, only slept there one night and decided to find another place wasting 380 euros on this place and had one night without sleep.
Very noisy, music all the time until late in the night and we did not even live close to the beach or entertainment. The people next to us was also hearing loud music all the time and drinking like they were on a festival.
The toilets are very unclean, no toilet seats and women and men share the toilets. The dish washing is in the same room as toilet just disgusting and old.
The pool is overcrowded, people stand with 0,5 meter distance. No sun beds available. Way to small area for such a big camp site.
The beach is crowded and many weird/shady type of people hang out there.
I would never let me child run around on this camp site. I would never recommend this to anyone. For us this would be punishment to be here more than vacation. Just terrible. Have no idea how it has good reviews..
