Aging small village
Village that is aging, but I love this place
The negative things: no Orange network, paid Wi-Fi package but it is not secure and is very unreliable, restaurant meh nothing very exciting and the menu needs to be refreshed
The parking spaces are not marked, some take up space for two vehicles

Disappointing experience – not worth the price
From the moment we arrived, we had difficulties communicating. Nobody at reception spoke English, and they had to call someone who could speak English to assist us. Unfortunately, this set the tone for the rest of our holiday, as we found that almost nobody at the resort spoke English.
The kids' activities were all conducted in French, meaning our daughter could not participate. For a family resort that welcomes international visitors, we found this very disappointing.
The accommodation itself is also outdated and in need of a serious revamp. Considering the price we paid, we simply don't feel that the experience offers good value for money.
We also didn't bother trying the restaurant. On the one occasion we went to get ice cream, the staff member serving us did not speak any English, and communication was already difficult. We felt that trying to order a meal would have been unnecessarily challenging.
The one positive aspect was the water park, which was the only part of the resort we genuinely enjoyed.
Unfortunately, we will not return. From the very beginning of our stay, we did not feel welcomed, and the language barrier made the entire holiday more difficult than it needed to be.

Beautiful setting but that's where it ends
Disappointed with our vacation because the village had little activity, aging accommodations, too many paid activities; the only positive points were the little train and the pool

Entre le petit train et les moments passés à la piscine, vous avez malgré tout trouvé quelques occasions de profiter du Village Belle Dune, et nous vous remercions de les avoir mentionnées.
Nous sommes en revanche désolés que l'ambiance du village ne vous ait pas semblé suffisamment animée. Belle Dune propose pourtant, selon les périodes, de nombreuses activités pour petits et grands : Aquaclub chauffé, clubs enfants et ados, animations familiales, séances de fitness et de yoga, mini-golf, chasse au trésor, terrains de tennis, multisports, pétanque ou encore tennis de table. Nous regrettons que cette offre n'ait pas répondu à vos attentes ou n'ait pas donné le dynamisme que vous recherchiez durant vos vacances.
Vous évoquez également l'état de votre hébergement. Votre remarque concernant le caractère vieillissant du logement est bien prise en compte, car le confort de nos appartements demeure un élément essentiel de l'expérience de séjour.
Concernant les activités payantes, nous comprenons votre ressenti. Si certaines prestations sont proposées en supplément, de nombreux équipements et animations restent également accessibles sans frais afin de permettre à chacun de profiter de son expérience.
Nous regrettons que votre séjour n'ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes et vous remercions d'avoir partagé votre expérience avec autant de franchise, Audrey.

Give this place a miss.
Would not return. Apartments are small and dated; no fan in August. Breakfast room is tired and overpriced—skip the upgrade.
The swimming complex is great for kids, but I had a terrible experience. When I arrived without swimwear (due to menstruation), staff refused to let me sit clothed on a lounger in the outdoor area, insisting I wear swimwear or leave. After an unreasonable back-and-forth involving multiple staff members and threats to call police over a lounger dispute, they finally agreed I could stay if I wrapped a towel around my waist.
While four staff members were focused on my clothing, a child defecated in the pool—the actual problem they should have been addressing.

Tranquility and security
As regulars, we have always appreciated this haven of peace, in a "pedestrian-only" environment, by a lake that is revealing upon waking, with trimmed shrubs and a well-kept lawn. A downside regarding a mini-market with "tourist trap" prices, but a market nearby makes the difference. The attraction remains the water park and the bike ride to reach the beach or the city center via a network of bike paths.
