A very beautiful house

To spend an excellent weekend with friends: very comfortable hotel, a warm welcome, discreet and efficient staff. A wonderful gourmet dinner at a very reasonable price. Very good advice for the pairings and thank you for this beautiful break.

Very disappointed

I have already been there 2 times and it was perfect. I went back this summer and this time I found that it was not up to par.
The vegetarian tagine corresponded exactly to another dish on the menu accompanied by chicken. There simply wasn't any chicken, but the name was different. Then the cheese cart was poorly stocked and many of the cheeses were similar. Finally, of the two desserts offered, only one was available. The second had been replaced by a reinvented tiramisu. Honestly, it was very rushed and not very well presented. I had the feeling that I had been ripped off several times. Too bad.

A green interlude.

Very pleasant stay at Cheval Blanc - Lac du Der where we spent a night this weekend. We were with family, so we reserved two rooms. We had room 203 (comfort category) among those renovated, which was a bit more expensive but had effective air conditioning that was invaluable during this period of intense heat. Located in the center of the village with free parking at the back, the establishment is just steps from Lac du Der (at the end of the street). We appreciated the interactions with Vincent, one of the two managers, prior to our visit to help us contact the restaurant we had chosen in the town and throughout our stay. The room was perfectly renovated with comfortable bedding, contemporary decor, effective lighting (with a reading lamp), and plenty of power outlets. A practical bathroom with a shower. Wall-mounted flat-screen TV with foreign channels (CNN, RAI, etc.). View of the entrance and terrace of the hotel. Large mirror at the entrance of the room. Practical dressing area. Blackout curtains, easily accessible and high-performance WIFI. A bottle of water available. A Magimix coffee maker available in this category of room (comfort) with 4 coffee capsules. Impeccable cleanliness. Heated towel rack. Esteban scented care products. Magnifying mirror. Hair dryer. Paper tissues. Pleasant breakfast room with a generous buffet: cold cuts, delicious pastries, local products (cheese, yogurt), fresh fruits, and efficient, smiling service from the waitress. This establishment truly offers a very pleasant break of comfort in the heart of nature. We would gladly return.

Again a fabulous experience in this restaurant that we never tire of, we chose the 7-course menu and everything was perfect sweetbread with extraordinary coffee all with a champagne marie girlfriend advised by the sommelier; just perfect; it was our 7th visit and the 8th is already scheduled;
