Room is clean with many nice touches. Free breakfast is wonderful and better than all 4 star hotels we stayed before, very impressive! Hotel is in a beautiful location with all amenities well thought out!

We looked for the 4 stars.

A magnificent farmhouse with a stunning view of the Luberon. It is a pity that the quality of service did not match the landscape, the price paid, and the service one can expect from a 4-star hotel. We paid €435 for 2 nights. Upon our arrival, the room was dirty, with blood stains on the walls, questionable floor cleanliness, and a broken toilet seat; we reported this to the reception, but it was never repaired. The reception decided to change our room (upgraded) the next day. We had ordered a "gourmet dinner tray" for the evening at the price of €67 for 2: a plate of cheeses and cold cuts, 2 frozen quiches, 2 small pots of pâté, 2 soups, 1 bottle of tap water, and a sparkling drink like soda stream, a plate of fruit where the blueberries were moldy; at this price, we expected at least to taste fresh and local products... What a bad surprise we had at breakfast the next day.... The breakfast consisted of all the items that had been served to us the previous evening on the dinner tray... breakfast is €25 per person, and all-you-can-eat, with no local products, no hot dishes (scrambled eggs, bacon...); at the end of our stay, we were told that it was possible upon request, but this was not stated anywhere.
We retrieved our new room... right next to the technical room of the pool: strong chlorine smell and a ventilation system running continuously at 66 decibels... according to comments from other guests, there has been a change of ownership, and the previous manager seems to have left with the quality of service.

This place is absolutely beautiful! We loved the view, the peace and quiet, the kind and helpful staff, the breakfast, and the large tub!

Super weekend in Le Palais d” Aglaé.

We spent a long weekend in Gordes and absolutely loved it! The location was perfect — just outside the village, which made it peaceful while still being close enough to walk or drive in easily. The hotel itself was wonderful. Our room had a small terrace with a stunning view, and we loved sitting there to take it all in. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good. Even in October, we were able to swim in the heated outdoor pool, which was such a treat. Everything was just perfect — we can’t wait to come back!
