Stylish bed and breakfast

A very warm welcome.
Extremely clean and stylish house with immaculate garden.
Bedroom and bathroom very well equipped.
Very close to the beautiful Honfleur.
Delicious home made breakfast.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Great welcome and stay

I travelled in Normandy in the first part of June just as the hotels had started to open as confinement was ending but still some restaurants closed. I didn't book accommodation too far in advance as I wanted to see where my travels took me. I was lucky to stay at Jane'Laur for 2 nights. Sandrine greeted me on arrival. She was friendly and welcoming. There was that very enticing smell of home cooking. The house is a characterful and very tastefully decorated near the centre of Honfleur, with a lovely garden where, weather permitting breakfast is served. And on my plate for breakfast, amongst other delights, was served the home cooking of the previous afternoon, a wonderful tarte aux oignons. The breakfast and setting was the culinary highlight of my trip and there were many good ones. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else on a return trip to Honfleur but I'd definitely book well in advance as I think I got lucky first time.

Lovely Stay in Stylish House

Felt very welcome in this beautiful house. Very well located for attractions in Honfleur, a friendly, very attractive town.
Owner of accommodation extremely helpful. Breakfast delicious and included home made local specialties each day. Garden a relaxing haven of peace. All in all, a really nice location.

Great location, fabulous breakfast, lovely host

5 of us occupied 3 of the rooms at Jane Laur. The rooms are individually decorated specific to a theme, and had obviously been thought about. The location is great. We were able to park on the road for free for the duration of our visit (although if that was not the case, Madame had secured us a parking space in a secure location as I had given her prior warning that we were driving). We were literally a three minute walk into the centre, which made evenings and days out very easy. During the day when we had had enough of a stroll, we headed back and chilled out in the beautiful garden. The breakfasts were fantastic. Madame does a lot of home cooking and the effort and taste of her goods was amazing. Madame also recommended restaurants to us which was greatly appreciated as there is a wealth of restaurants in Honfleur. We had a fabulous time.

A Great retreat

The hotel sits on top of a hill overlooking the very pretty town of Honfleur, it is typically French and beautifully furnished and decorated. Close enough to the town to walk into far enough away not to be bothered by noise.
We had use of a well maintained garden which on sunny days a continental breakfast was served on the terrace. The breakfasts are superb and home made bread jams and cakes are all there for you start your day fresh eggs too.
Owner Janine works tirelessly to make you feel welcome and happily advises you of the best places to visit and best restaurants too. She soon becomes a close friend. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for her.
We will be returning.
