Restful and pleasant

Hotel well managed by mother and daughter who are very attentive

Forgotten for 3/4 hour at the restaurant!

Pleasant hotel, beautiful rooms, nice decor, spacious bathroom.
I had chosen a sea view room, but it was not great in the end, as it faced directly south, making it very hot in the afternoon, and the road runs just below.
Good restaurant with a varied selection of quality dishes.
However, there was an incident on the second evening; I was completely forgotten and had to wait 3/4 hour for my dish while the waitress passed by me repeatedly without seeing me and served other people who arrived after me. Not a word of apology or even a reassuring word to make me wait!
Thus, there was a very unpleasant feeling of not being seen as an "important" customer compared to the tables of four. (A customer who stayed for 5 days nonetheless…)
Breakfast was well-stocked but the cold cuts were of low quality.
Private parking at the back of the hotel is very convenient.
Otherwise, to my great surprise, Audierne is a city without interest, sad, lifeless, and not pretty to visit.

Terrific views, comfortable rooms, superb food

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel de la Plage. The hotel itself was spotless, quiet, beautifully furnished and cared for, beds were comfortable and the views over the sandy beaches of Audierne made waking up a joy. Also the evening meals were of exceptional quality, far more sophisticated than one would expect in a seaside town. The ladies who run the hotel were kindness itself and even tolerated our dreadful attempts to speak their language. Well done to all. We will be going back again.

Beautiful hotel facing the ocean

Clean hotel, large room, good and hearty breakfast with different cakes, facing a beautiful beach from which one enjoys the breakfast room, just 10 minutes walk from the city center along the sea, a pleasure.
