Incredible....................!

I spent several days at the hotel with my family recently and we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Great rooms, great food in the restaurant and the views across the mountains from the balconies are incredible. Thoroughly recommend early morning swimming in the local glacial lakes (in the summer!). All the facilities are superb and the hotel should be rated much higher than the 2 stars currently awarded. Great place, great staff, great atmosphere, great facilities. What more can I say? It made are holiday......

This place deserves to be renovated because too old

Dear Award Value...it looks like a former Holiday Camp converted into Pension! Clean but sad room to give the cockroach! Suitable for groups of young people but not couples. Very average breakfast: no dried fruit, no eggs, cold cuts or cheeses. Only highlight the welcome at the top!

The bees? Better the flies!

I have to admit that the position is wonderful.
But the rest!
Ugly dirty rooms badly arranged. Ridicolous TV set. No Wi-Fi.
Fatiscent pool.
Flies everywhere.
Old structure badly maintaned.
No carte at the restaurant, we have had just a pile of overcooked rice with some dubious seafood and 2 chicken legs.. ...called "paella".
Breakfast dull.
And the place is expensive too for what you get!! !! You pay also for sheets and towels.
Stay away.

A wonderful get-away!

The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The large swimming pool was a lovely surprise and it was a great treat at the end of a tiring day. There is a good variety of meals in the restaurant to suit everyone's taste. Breath taking views with wonderful walks in the surrounding area and is a must for anyone that enjoys walking or hiking. All in all, a terrific get-away from busy life. Will definitely return during the winter months for a skiing trip!

Great place to stay!

La motte international was a very nice, well-kept and a friendly hotel. Throughout our stay we found the staff very accommodating. We stayed in one of the Gítes; it was nice, clean and well equipped. We found the restaurant food was good. And as for facilities the swimming pool was lovely and big, there was a games room for the kids and a well-stocked bar for the adults. The whole establishment showed that thought had been put into everything to ensure an overall nice stay.
