We pass the gate and we are elsewhere!!! We were in Bali!! Lovely hosts in addition, everything is perfect! We'll be back

A magnificent guest house

A beautiful guest house in peace. The owners are very caring. We had a very pleasant stay, swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi, shared summer kitchen: everything is planned and well maintained.Breakfast is also up to standard

La Varangue, Lacanau is a truly welcoming, tranquil and comfortable holiday location that is easily accessible by car from Bordeaux.
The surrounding areas provide amazingly varied and rewarding experiences to travellers. Indeed the accomplished English speaking hostess epitomises the friendly, caring character of the French in this part of South West France.
Having been unlucky enough to encounter problems with my hire car, Christine superbly managed contact with all agencies and resolved the issues quickly.
My wife and I spent 3 days in Bordeaux (an elegant, clean and interesting city) and 3 days touring around the coastal region from Lacanau Ocean to Le Pin Sec and its idyllic hinterland. So all in all the whole holiday was a great success !

Amazing. Charming, laid-back and relaxing.

A delightful, quiet and elegant B&B. A beautifully stylish and welcoming retreat that is made for relaxation. The pool is great with secluded areas surrounding it for sun-bathing or shade. The room made great use of the space. The welcome was friendly and informative and set the tone for the stay. Time seemed to slow whilst there. The only downside was the short drive required for restaurants on an evening.
An ideal location for couples in search of tranquillity and peace.

Great holiday

Beautiful chambre d'hôte in Lacanau. We stayed here with our 2 year old daughter and felt very welcome. Table d'hôte in Reunion-style was great, our daughter loving the appetizers, parents loving the Tiki-punch :-). Great pool in lovely surrounding.
