Good value for money and a nice dining experience

A clean hotel with good value for money, well located. A night spent for business, nothing to complain about for €80 a night.
The downside is the restaurant!
It is very good! Again, for the price!
And the room is pleasant.
A 'simple' cuisine but well made and generous.
Quality meat, a homemade knife tapenade! A rare thing. The chef must love his job.
I highly recommend.

Vacation Varois

Stay Varois of a week, we book a room on Internet photos and reviews. Judging that this is not always reliable. Indeed, our stay was not idyllic. First, a cold and impersonal Welcoming, no private parking, forced to park on one of the city parking lots around the roundabout. If it were just that!
Second, arrived in our room, two small bottles of water await us, very friendly attention especially in this overwhelming heat. As in other establishments, we thought we had more every day. Well, no! Just once on the rest of the stay. Any room, acceptable if clean, but it was not the case...
Dust, insect invasion through the window, dirt behind the toilet, unspeakable shower siphon. Floors that have not been cleaned, vacuumed or swept all week. Easy to check, because as said above, there was an insect invasion. Apparently unknown at the reception (an insect bomb was available in the room). These dead bugs have been lying on the ground all week...
As for the bed, comfortable though, but equipped with only two small cushions. If you want another cushion, it’s 5€ more. We went to the big box office, for 8€ we had one that we will keep. Bed linen has never been changed during the stay. Only the duvet was pulled every morning. Towels, 1 per person, painfully changed every day. The bath mat, non-existent in the sight of its template. The soap washes hands or shower gel, in blue color and in push-ups, nothing local or eco responsible as indicated in the brochure in room.
We are really disappointed with this stay at this property. There is a restaurant that seems to be nice and reputable. It did not make us want to test, quite the contrary. I will finish by talking about breakfast, 9,90€ / person / day. Honest if homemade with a diverse choice. Well there too, nothing homemade, industrial fruit juices, vacuum-wrapped pastries (industrial brands), yogurts or even basic fruits. Too bad considering that on the other side of the roundabout there is an excellent bakery and there are fruit vendors all around the city.
One thing is certain, we will not come back.

Nice weekend.

Simple but nice room, preferably choose garden side. Good breakfast with a correct choice. Good table with a menu without too many dishes sign of home cooking. Welcoming staff and great location. Result in a good weekend.

Pleasant

Nice hotel in a good location! The hotel is clean!! We didn't have breakfast because we had to leave before the breakfast slot! The beds are comfortable! We had problems with the TV which had no signal every minute! Not looking at the work done is a bit sloppy! But sleeping was no problem! Too bad there is no parking at the hotel, it’s up to you to find a space in the streets!

Not perfect, but comfortable

A fairly neatly renovated hotel, relatively quiet despite its location on the main road (at least the rooms at the back), there are parking spaces nearby, the bed is comfortable, the reception is nice and the in-house restaurant is highly recommended!!
