Hotel on the outskirts

3* hotel located north of Lens, 2km from the city centre. Free parking. Well received by the receptionist who took us in hand.
Bedroom 118, 1st floor: quite spacious room. Grand lit, 2 oreillers. Long table and chair joins it to the large window whose rolling blind just obstructs daylight. Welcome tray with kettle and tea and coffee bags. Small flat screen TV with simple tnt channels. Free WiFi with satisfactory bandwidth. Little closet. Medium size bathroom. Toilet seat, washbasin with 2 cardboard cups, soap dispenser, hairdryer, shower cubicle and gel dispenser, 2 towels available that we wonder if they have been properly washed, given the absence of smell of freshness and the beautiful trace of foundation on one of them. Nice little post-it pasted on the big mirror from the housekeepers. Quiet night overall despite a full hotel. Possibility to have a breakfast buffet for €13,90 but we did not take advantage of it. Satisfied with our stay overall. Were there any factual efforts to read the previous opinions?

Campanile not up to it

Campanile Hotels are not what they used to be.
We spent 4 nights there. We had to ask twice for the room to be made once (new Campanile policy). There's no more catering. Flushing does not drain properly (same problem encountered at Arras).
You feel like you're pulling on everything and especially down.
The fact that the rooms are no longer made systematically does not even lead to a degressive price according to the nights.
At breakfast, some cutlery is dirty and not everything is available.

Very average or even low-end hotel.

Cheap but very outdated hotel. The air conditioning does not work in all rooms and in an outside temperature of 35 degrees it is unbearable! On the other hand there is no catering except breakfast whose quality is good value for money. If you are demanding I recommend this hotel.

Pass your way,, mediocre quality.

This hotel does not deserve its 3 stars, no cleaning lady during our 3 night stay, no dry towels, shower generating water on the tiled floor hyper slippery and dangerous, Sunday morning breakfast very restricted???, very important stewardship problem, Monday morning receptionist unpleasant and cold in his words, in short it is better to stay in an ibis because quality and impeccable services.

Nous regrettons également les autres désagréments que vous avez rencontrés, notamment liés à la salle de bain, au petit-déjeuner et à l’accueil. Soyez assuré que vos remarques seront transmises aux équipes concernées afin d’améliorer la qualité de nos services.
Nous espérons avoir l’opportunité de vous offrir une meilleure expérience à l’avenir.
