Great stay at Holiday Inn Express Lille central

The hotel is conveniently located near the Palais des Beaux-Arts and not far from the main shopping streets. The hotel is clean and organised and the staff friendly and helpful. In particular Julia, on the reception desk, makes the stay special with her knowledge of where to visit, her brilliant English and helping at every opportunity and going above and beyond, like a personal guide.

Good experience

Good experience, but the only downside: no closets or fridge. Otherwise, very friendly and competent staff, clean room.

Very good stay

Paradise for children (the pool!): It is the big highlight of the stay. The pool was an absolute delight for the children; they loved playing in it and did not want to get out.
Top-notch bedding and absolute quiet: The beds are comfortable and the environment is quiet.: The morning buffet is of good quality, varied, and hearty. A great way to start the day!

Je pense que vous vous êtes trompée d'établissement. Nous sommes l'hôtel Holiday Inn Express de Lille centre et en plein centre ville, nous n'avons pas la chance d'avoir une piscine.

Excellent base for exploring.

Great base for a weekend Lille. Everything within walking distance, metro station around the corner. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Location is fine so. We were by train but there is also a parking garage under the hotel.
Hotel itself is sufficient. Not an excessive luxury but just decent. Breakfast is what you can expect from it. Nothing wrong with that. Although the scrambled eggs should be a little less moist by me. But the French way maybe?
Extra star because of the great staff.

Our room was at the top and very small, we were surprised to see there were no cupboards or drawers and only a small space to hang clothes, so we were living out of our suitcases, which spoilt our time a bit. However, the bed was really comfy, the shower great and good breakfast. We also had 2 stations on the TV showing English films which was good. The staff were really nice and did tell me that they plan to change those rooms before next year to include cupboard space. The location was good too.
