Peaceful Stay.
I stayed five nights at Aneto.
My stay at Hotel Aneto was very pleasant. The room was clean and had everything it promised. The bed was comfortable, and daily room service was provided. The heater worked perfectly, which was especially important since February was very cold. The shower always had warm water, which I truly appreciated. The room had a balcony facing the city.
The location is very close to the Center and the Sanctuary.
The food and breakfast were delicious. The staff was respectful, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. Leticia and her team made sure all my needs were met. The chef was outstanding, and Leticia was especially polite and patient.
I am very glad I chose to stay at Hotel Aneto and would happily return.

A disaster
I had booked at the Hotel Metropole. Upon our arrival, we found the doors closed.. after waiting for 30 min, I ended up going to the Hotel Stella where the receptionist did everything to help me. She asked me to go to the Hotel Aneto (same owner as the Metropole) located 100 meters away. When I arrived, the receptionist informed me that we had been moved to another hotel and that she had sent me a message via Booking to tell me.. no message.. we picked up the keys and what was our despair when we opened the door to the room... I don't have the words.. it's the first time this has happened to me.. I pay attention to the photos, to the comments before booking.. the room was dusty, dirty, bathroom the same with a nice leak.. we had no choice but to stay.. two nights.. two looonnnng nights.. I received the message about the hotel change just after, informing us that we had been upgraded... might as well spit in my face with such a room.. elevator problem stuck by the cleaning staff (they don't give a damn about the customers).. 20 min wait, the receptionist had to climb the stairs to bring the elevator down.. for the wait, a beer was offered.. we had to take the train on Monday morning, so I booked a taxi. Twice the day before, I asked if my reservation had been made.. "don't worry, it's done" they told me.. (2 different receptionists..) On the day at 5 AM, I went down to smoke and stopped to ask the night porter if my taxi request had been made. He insisted on calling in front of me to be sure and SURPRISE.. no taxi.. he did his best to find me one for 6 AM, called back at 6 AM to ask where the taxi was.. waited with us and reassured us.. this night porter will have all my gratitude for these two days of disasters.. last thing, no AC.. you roast and suffocate if you stay in your room, you sleep with the window open and besides all the guests do the same, so we hear all the noises coming from the other rooms.. a sweet music of coughing, sneezing, shouting, snoring accompanies your night.. I will be much more careful next time, but for sure, if I am "upgraded" like this again, I will lose it...

Poor management
I requested a room change because they gave me 509, where the AC units of the hotel across the street were very loud. They should take that into account. The new room was acceptable, but very small; they did not clean it despite me requesting it twice. At the exit they were satisfied with a pathetic one

Disappointing experience.
As part of a pilgrimage with the hospital staff from Nantes, I stayed in this hotel. Very close to the sanctuary, that is its advantage.
The room was old-fashioned, smelling of urine, and the hotel was aware of it because the staff tried to mask the odor with an air freshener.
On the last day, we discovered cockroaches.
After discussing with the reception, we were offered a refund that never came. After following up with the hotel, we were offered a credit. Except that I do not plan to set foot in this hotel again. Unpleasant experience.

Stay at the Aneto hotel.
Hello, the main asset of the Aneto hotel is its proximity to the basilica and the cave. The breakfast is good, the meals are quite normal, and we had ice cream in a plastic cone for dessert. No possibility of having a bottle of rosé instead of red wine. The rooms are small, there is no heating, and getting hot water is complicated. The only positive points are the good bedding and the quietness. So in conclusion, do not expect more.
