Perfect as a base to tour the local area!

Using Lourdes as a base for touring the local area, we wanted something a little different, with somewhere safe to park our car every night (parking is a premium in Lourdes, with the vast majority of hotels not offering parking or very limited spaces.) We found the Hotel du Clos Fleuri through Tripadvisor, which was also backed up by the local tourist information.
Parking is on the quiet roads around 3 sides of the hotel, these are very quiet roads, we had no problems parking there.
Martine (and her dog Sheepy!) gave us a warm welcome when we arrived, she was very helpful with introductions, asking what our plans were, giving advice and took us to our room - we booked the room with the kitchenette for 4 nights. We didn't want to be tied to breakfast times and we enjoy shopping in France, it's all part of the fun - so we went self catering for breakfast for a change! The room was clean, tidy with its own shower, toilet and a view over the large side garden, which also looked over towards the castle. The kitchenette could be used for full self catering, with large fridge/ freezer, hob and combined microwave/ oven.
The hotel is literally 10 minutes walk from The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, with the main town also around 10 minutes away - it really is a great location. The train station is also just up the road. During the evening at 9pm, if you open the windows, you can even hear the singing and bells from the evening candle procession! There is a bakers/ cafe right in front of the hotel (if you want to provide your own breakfast) which is so close, you can smell the fresh baking! Across the main road, there is a small laundrette but the hotel does offer laundry as an amenity.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel, which was a great price for 4 nights and would recommend the hotel for both short and longer stays in Lourdes.

Very nice experience.

Excellent Pension. With my family, we spent two days there. Rooms, sanitary facilities, reception, etc., everything was fine. The Pension is not far from Lourdes Sanctuary (10 min walk). I recommend the Pension du Clos Fleuri and will return there occasionally. Thanks to Martine for her kindness.

You can book with your eyes closed!

I recommend 2000%. A host of exceptional kindness and kindness. In terms of accommodation, everything was perfect. The location is great, close to the sanctuary and the center of Lourdes on foot. You can book with your eyes closed.

Vive le Clos Fleuri

Un hôtel où il fait bon vivre , dans une ambiance familiale très agréable . L'accueil est chaleureux , la bonne humeur est de mise .Proche des sanctuaires , le Clos Fleuri offre un confort de qualité et propose des petits déjeuners délicieux . Le sourire de la " fée du logis" est contagieux !
