Fantastic

Truly wonderful location, one of my favorites in Lyon. Room with a very comfortable bed and a fairly good breakfast. The difference was made by the kindness of the manager Alexandre who, upon learning of my mishap with my car key, was very empathetic and truly comforted me at a time when I was not very happy (to put it mildly). I will definitely return because I had a really good time and I hope not to lose anything else...

The hotel was in a great location in Lyon which enabled us to easily traverse the city to see the abundant sights. Plenty of restaurants and cafes right by hotel. Would stay there again.

Breakfast with a view

We arrived at Maison No and discovered our travel agent had booked a Cinema Room. This was a dark, airless box of a room only good for watching movies with no outside facing window. We asked reception to change it and the young lady worked exceptionally hard, with a fully booked hotel, to help us. The Manager also worked his magic and we were so grateful to be given a beautiful light filled upper level room which looked down at the street to have for our entire stay. The hotel itself is very pared back as far as decorations with a more industrial look inside a building with a heritage facade. The location to eateries and shops was fantastic. There was a fair walk to the town square and more shops but the hotel was right at the main mall which lead into the town square so little chance of getting lost. The hotel and rooms were very clean but I have to say that I remember the wonderful service and friendly gestures from the young lady at reception and from the Hotel Manager as a highlight of our stay. The rooftop snack bar was pretty fabulous too. Such a wonderful view of Lyon.

Hotel has a great location for walking in the center of the city. Room was ready on time, was clean and A/C worked super well in the hot summer weather. Only complaint was that the bathroom light seemed to require all lights to be on in the room in order to work, which was inconvenient if you needed to use it late at night. Hotel staff was courteous. I would stay here again.
