Great choice for exploring Lyon
This hotel is in a great location .It is very clean and the bathroom has good quality fitments and everything works. The hotel is quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly .There are lovely local restaurants nearby and a playground for children.
There is a facility to leave left luggage for 6 euros.
There is a shared kitchen where they have a couple of tables outside. It is very clean and well supplied with the basics for cooking a meal and some people ordered take aways.There are large fridges and sticky labels where you can leave your marked food. There were people of all ages mixing and chatting. There is also a separate breakfast room.It caters for all ages. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again.It is very close to all the tourist sites .The public transport is easy to use with contactless and very frequent but reduced service on Sunday evenings.It is very good value.

Disappointing
Very disappointed with this hotel. The staff is not responsive and does not adapt to the situation. In December, following a breakfast billing error, we have only just resolved the problem. Today, after a booking error for August 31, they are refusing to let me modify it under the pretext that it is written as such in their T&Cs. I do not think, however, that it would be inconvenient to make this change, but since it is written, they apply it (mindlessly): or how to very easily extract money from customers. Very disappointing.

Soyez sûr que nous mettons un point d'honneur à régler rapidement ce type de situation qui peut, je l'entend, être contraigante.
Concernant votre réservation du 31 août, vous avez réservé une offre non annulable-non remboursable contraintes par des conditions générales de ventes décrites dans le nom du tarif.
Mes équipes ne font que suivre les procédures en place concernant les demandes d'annulation ou de modification sur ce type de réservation.

Minimal comfort
I do not recommend this hotel. The comfort is very minimal (no counter to put your things in the bathroom, not a glass to drink water, very thin mattresses, etc.). Some staff members can be really unpleasant.

Outrageous practice
Unacceptable experience.
I booked and paid for one night (non-refundable) via Hostelworld.
No mention of a €50 deposit appeared in the terms or in the emails.
Upon arrival, I am required to pay this deposit on pain of refusal of access.
The result: despite a payment already made, I am refused entry and I find myself literally without a solution for the night.
It is an abusive practice: adding unannounced fees after payment and refusing service is simply unacceptable.
The staff hide behind “the instructions” without any attempt at help or solution (no alternative offered).
I strongly advise against this property.
If you book here, expect unpleasant surprises and total lack of consideration for guests
