Perfect Hotel

Hotel well located next to the hospital the timone to visit a family. A very good welcome by the very professional and smiling staff. The rooms are functional clean large and well appointed. A separate toilet from the bathroom is a little extra. Everything is perfect. We then had dinner at the hotel restaurant. We enjoyed both the service and the dishes. Very attentive and attentive staff. Breakfast the next day was hearty. Many thanks to all the staff at this property. I recommend it

A really great hotel.

Excellent hotel! Kudos to the entire team, full of humanity. Very helpful, always finding a solution. We were stuck as a family one morning at 1:20 AM at the Marseille Saint-Charles station, no taxi, a TGV with a 7-hour and 50-minute delay, and an appointment in the morning at the hospital. Fortunately, the Ibis hotel at La Timone found us a solution. A big, big thank you for being there. Moreover, the prices are quite affordable! Breakfast was excellent, lunch was great, and dinner was outstanding. The restaurant, room, and service were all top-notch, as usual. The little extra: you feel right at home here. A small piece of advice: if you pass through Marseille, stay at this Ibis in Timone; it’s a real gem.

Clean room and quiet. Walk from airport just 5 minutes. Take train to Monaco just 5 minutes by walk, breakfast are very good. Staff friendly

Dehumanized

I am a regular of the Accor group and have to find a gap between his usual standards and this establishment. Many awkwardnesses or even rudeness of the staff, probably related to too firm a direction. Are they trying to apply instructions they do not understand? That’s the best explanation for a lot of inappropriate talk. On arrival: "Do you smoke?" Uh, no. “Good because the rooms are non-smoking.” We take our room and unfortunately a very strong smell of cold tobacco will accompany us all night. At the bar: “It’s difficult to take your good drinks because you have to destock the products.” “We can’t serve lemon pulco (which sits on the shelf) because it may be reserved for cocktails.” At breakfast: “no hello but a reflection after we settled down alone: ‘Didn’t you see that this table had been set up for lunch?’” Oh no, it had not seemed so obvious to us. “Well, you have to move elsewhere!” We did our utmost to avoid scandal but what a deplorable sense of service. Of course we will not be back and strongly advise against this property.
