Excellent experience.

Very good meal with the Balade Saveurs menu in 5 courses. This 5-course menu is very well balanced, each dish highlights quality products with great finesse, especially the sea bream sashimi and the marinated and miso cod.
The service is very attentive and the view of the Dordogne is amazing.
Kudos to the chef for this new menu.
I recommend it without hesitation!

A meal that actually outdoes the beautiful views.

What an extraordinary meal we had at this restaurant on this terrace of a château overlooking the Dordogne River. The waiting team were very kind and generous with their time, helping us choose the right meal for the various members of our family group (including teenage children). The food was truly an experience we will remember forever. Generous additions were made to our order, including a starter and some desserts to try.. we will remember this forever! And I haven’t mentioned the rose cocktail and local recommended white wine. A lovely lunch indeed.

A gem in the southwest of France

An incredible gem in a great area. In a small castle above the Dordogne with a magnificent view from the namesake terrace. The whole team around Francoise and her son Clemens is exceptionally warm-hearted and professional. A very special atmosphere. Very high-quality cuisine and truly special rooms. We have been there many times and will continue to visit Hotel La Terrasse regularly, and we can wholeheartedly recommend a multi-day stay (to take full advantage of the leisure offerings in the area).
