Perfect for a successful stay
Hotel with pension formula , best value for money for a hassle-free ski stay.
Very well placed to go skiing.
The place is warm and the staff friendly and smiling.
The room is very well equipped , quiet, the balcony is a plus. The bedding is comfortable and the bathroom convenient.
The restaurant serves good quality and varied cuisine that can satisfy all appetites.
I highly recommend if you want to enjoy your holiday

Accident SKI unable to issue a detailed invoice
Hello everyone, on the first day of our stay Mrs. fell in skiing, we asked for a detailed invoice to provide it to the insurance but Sowell can not establish it because it is a pack so impossible to make me reimburse the 7 days of skis, so frankly do not fall especially.

More than mixed opinion - disappointing experience
As soon as we arrived on Saturday at around 2pm, we were greeted specifying that the keys would be collected from 4pm. No surprise so far, since it was indicated.
We wanted to leave our luggage in the meantime, but to our surprise, the hotel has no luggage. We were directed to a luggage store across the street belonging to Sunweb. Confident, we went there... to discover that the service was paid (3€) and especially without any supervision. Unacceptable for a hotel to offer no secure solution to its customers. So we had to leave with our luggage.
At 15:45, we return to the hotel and note with surprise that the reception was already open and that the keys were distributed for a while. We could have accessed our room earlier instead of waiting unnecessarily.
To top it all off, the receptionist was particularly unpleasant, even disrespectful. A cold and unprofessional welcome that clearly tarnished our stay.
In summary: failing organization, lack of basic services and disappointing reception. We did not enjoy our stay at all and do not recommend this property.

Topiose experience
We spent 5 nights in this hotel with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is smiling, the food varied and very good, both for breakfast and dinner. The pancakes of the snack are very good too;) There are small activities some evenings that are very friendly. At the level of the room, it is very clean, the beds are comfortable and everything is super functional. The location is also perfect: the hotel is 2 minutes from the gondola and other shops. The only downside is sound isolation. We could hear a lot of noise from the hallway and outside. Despite this, we put 5 stars because our experience was really great.

Disappointment
We stayed here for a second time because we thought it was good value for money last year. This year it was rather disappointing... The supply and quality of food has deteriorated. Same breakfast every day. No more variations on eggs, just hard boiled. Pre-sliced baguette, if you're late it's hard. Last year there were loaves of bread where you could cut your own slice. The hot vegetables at the evening buffet are tasteless and are turned into soup the day after. And no coffee after dinner, the machines are turned off at dinner. The rooms are not cleaned during your stay, no towel change only the bins come to empty them occasionally. They also organize events in the evening but the karaoke night for us terrible. After a day of skiing I want to go to sleep in time but the music of the karaoke was so loud that we could not get to sleep. I don't think we'll be back here next year, although Valfréjus is a very nice station.
