Unforgettable weekend.

I celebrated my 60th birthday over a weekend at the bastide. Johana and Olivier, as well as the staff, did EVERYTHING to make us comfortable. The meals (scallop carpaccio, John Dory or slow-cooked veal, ravioli...) were delicious and generous. And the Sunday brunch was incredible! The rooms are clean and the setting is great for gathering in the shade in the meadow or on the terrace or inside or in the large reception hall. This weekend will remain unforgettable!

We had our wedding in the beautiful private room of the Bastide.
Everything was perfect, from the aperitif to the edited room!
The food is excellent, very well served.
Johana and Olivier are really great!

A wonderful property run by amazing staff.

This was an excellent property to stop at. We were looking for a comfortable night for stopping to easily access an early morning boat booking at the Verdun Gorge. We really enjoyed the comfort of this facility and the fresh update. It was super clean and quiet and the staff were wonderful and friendly. The restaurant is exceptional and the service level was at very high fine dining standards. They have captured the art of fully present, professional, quick and communicative table service. To be honest, we were feeling a bit rough from travel for the high touch experience we received but they made us as welcome as anyone else. I could see that many locals were there enjoying Aoili night, which is a Chef's special set menu with great value on Fridays.
The only thing that could make this property better is A/C as we were there during a heat wave. But, we put the windows open and saw the most beautiful light as the sun went down and we were very comfortable. This is a typical size room for European visits but we found it very comfortable and nice and the shower and provided supplies were excellent.
There is an exceptional Boulangerie up into the mountain that is worth a stop on your visit. It is called CD Boulangerie and I included a photo below.
