Perfect location
We arrived at Nice airport and jumped on to the Port Lympia tram which took us to Alsace Lorraine stop and the hotel is only a short walk away.
The beach is only a 10 minute walk.
Across the road from the Hotel is UmiCafe which is a great breakfast spot and also a restaurant where we had pizza for lunch.
A small supermarket is next door and buses are on the street.
The train to Monaco is nearby too.
I recommend this location and would come back to Hotel Odaly.

The pictures of this hotel are misleading. We do not recommend this place due to general uncleanliness and poor communication and unwillingness to help from the staff.
Upon arrival at 1 pm the front office was randomly closed. We tried calling and the numbers didn’t work. Eventually someone from the apartment who was staying there gave us the code to get in.
While parts of the room were cleaned such as dishes and the fridge, the rest of the apartment was overall dirty. Examples: there was blood on the wall by the stairs and the entryway, the pull out bed had brown and yellow stains on it. We had asked for a baby crib which was absolutely disgusting, brown stains all over it. We tried to communicate about the crib but they said they had none available that night and they could deliver one the next day. At that point we told them to forget it and we ended up renting our own from a local baby store. Despite this, they entered our apartment the next day without notice and put in a new crib.
Lastly, the unit we were in had stairs (we have a baby so this would have been nice to know). The upstairs had no air conditioning which is where we slept. But the downstairs did. It was 85 degrees at night.
Overall the facility smelled. Would not recommend to anyone who has any concerns with cleanliness.

A good location with very average comfort.
The residence is very well located in the city center for visits, the beach, and the tram. Many places are accessible on foot. The parking at €10 per day is a real plus. The room (we were on the 3rd floor) needs serious renovation, not just a few patches: a small table cut to fit in the small room, laminate flooring on parts of the walls, a 140cm bed, and a narrow, tired bathroom. Average cleanliness. Cockroaches under the entrance threshold (reported to the front desk). The dishes are rationed: each utensil in 2 copies, for example (there is a dishwasher, but one must wash in the sink during the meal due to a lack of dishes). The residence is quiet, the street a bit noisy. Warm welcome upon arrival.

I was extremely disappointed with this stay. The property looked much better in the online photos than it did in reality. The room was small, not very clean, and had mosquitoes, making it difficult to relax and sleep comfortably.
One of the biggest issues was the lack of air conditioning. We had to repeatedly ask for a fan, which was not an adequate solution, especially during warm weather. The refrigerator was not cold enough to properly keep items chilled, and the sheets were rough and uncomfortable.
The room also had a poor view, and there was loud noise at night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The overall condition of the property did not match the expectations set by the photos and description online.
We seriously considered leaving and finding another place to stay. The only reason we remained was because we had arranged for our luggage to be delivered there, and changing accommodations at that point would have been very inconvenient.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing stays we have experienced. Between the lack of air conditioning, cleanliness concerns, mosquitoes, noise, and misleading photos, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

Great location, walking distance of the train station, restaurants, cafés, pastry shops and beach.
The kitchenette was a nice bonus for keeping drinks cold and having breakfast on site. Few coffee pods and tea bags would have been appreciated. Good windows, curtains and blinds also help keep the heat out during the day.
However, there are a few things to know, especially in summer. The bedroom is upstairs in the attic, with only roof windows (skylights). To get fresh air, you need to open the windows, but then the room fills with daylight very early. If you close the blinds to sleep, the room becomes too warm. There is an AC unit, but it was not working during our stay. Reception pointed out that AC was not listed as an amenity and offered a fan instead. While technically true, the presence of an AC unit suggests it is needed in summer and unfortunately it had not been repaired.
As an attic room, headroom is limited and we bumped our heads several times. The “double bed” is actually two twin beds pushed together, each with its own mattress, sheets and duvet.
The bathroom is also somewhat inconvenient: the shower is in a bathtub, the shower head is not mounted and must be held by hand, and there is no shower curtain. The toilet is downstairs, so nighttime trips involve navigating low ceilings in the dark, steep and creaky stairs with no handrail.
Overall, still a good rental in an excellent location, but guests should know what to expect, particularly during warmer weather.
