Rooms are small but very comfortable. I will recommend this hotels if you have 1-2 nights to spend in Paris.

Room was appropriate for our needs. Bed were comfortable and the room and hotel was clean. Staff was friendly, and the AC worked great!

Nice 3 days during the heat wave !

I had a bright corner room (with geraniums on the windowsill - charming), air-conditioned, very clean, apparently recently renovated. Small, clean hotel with a rather pleasant atmosphere.

This hotel does not deserve the 4 stars at all.

How this hotel could receive 4 stars remains a mystery. Our room was on the 5th floor under the roof; it was so small that one could hardly move. On that day, the elevator was out of order, so we had to climb up a dark, narrow staircase with a spiral staircase. The gentleman from the reception kindly carried our luggage but seemed unfazed by the dirty black carpet, the bags of dirty laundry, and other vacuum cleaners. One could hardly imagine what would happen in an emergency. Only the freshly renovated bathroom and the location can be rated positively. Great location - friendly staff

This hotel was an unexpected surprise. It is an old building which has been renovated to include modern comforts. From the initial friendly greeting in English by the man at reception whose name we can unfortunately not remember to our check out, this hotel was great. We arrived by plane and got to the hotel around 12pm. We were happy to leave our luggage so that we could go and explore but as our room was ready, we were given an early check in. This was really helpful to sort out what we needed for the rest of the day. The room was compact but had everything we needed. The little chocolates on our beds was a nice touch. The bathroom had a bath and shower, and there were robes in the cupboard for our use. There was a hairdryer which we used and an iron and ironing board which we didn't need but would have been great if we had to iron anything. The beds were comfortable and we had enough linen to keep us warm. The hotel is walking distance from Gare Montparnasse as well as a short walk to buses and the metro. We could reach everywhere we wanted to go using public transport. We stored our luggage for the day when we checked out as our train out was only later in the afternoon. There was an option of purchasing breakfast, however we wanted to be out early to see as much as we could, so we did not make use of the offer.
This hotel was almost perfect, but as with all old buildings, the rooms aren't very soundproof, however for most people that would not even be something to consider. We would not let this deter us from staying here again if we were ever in Paris again.
