Excellent

Very reasonable quality-price ratio.
Hotel very well located, clean, quiet, and the staff is very pleasant and available.
I recommend this establishment and will surely return during my visits to Paris.

Lack of empathy and understanding

We had a non-refundable reservation and we just wanted to change our dates because three days before we saw that Paris was still on red alert, and we are a couple over 70 years old. The hotel refused and was unpleasant on the phone. We paid without going there.

They lie about the stars, nothing is recognized, they certainly do not have 3.
An uncomfortable bed, non-blackout curtains, a very high temperature (and it's only in May) and the VMC (whistling noise, draft) + the fridge make a monster noise. We wedged a small handkerchief into the VMC and disconnected the
fridge to make it liveable.
As for the bathroom, a very obsolete flush that makes a lot of noise (when it is pulled but especially when it fills), a very small shower with a curtain inside full of limestone.
The hygiene of this hotel remains to be reviewed in general, stains everywhere (curtains, sheets) and the breakfast area is horrible. We did not have room on the tables when we arrived so we had to settle on dirty sofas, I have nothing more to say than what the pictures clearly show (used cups, stains on the sofas, presence of a rowing machine, uncleaned table, furniture with random objects).
And I'm not talking about the isolation of the hotel which is also catastrophic (we hear everything).

There was no hot water in my room. The manager took my keys to check the problem; which he could actually see. But instead of apologizing or offering a solution, he refused to give me back my keys - I had booked for 3 nights - and also won't refund me. I had to call the police and the Chamber of Commerce!!!

The hotel sent me details on check-in and check out etc, breakfast was 0730 till 0900 hrs. Breakfast was just a pastry and a coffee, wasn't really breakfast at all. When we went for breakfast my wife asked for some more quasonts, I was told at 0845 that no more quasonts and something about 0845. I just sat down and carried on when ( I thought he was someone from the street) a man came in and stared shouting that breakfast was finished at 0845 hrs. I started shouting back and defending my wife. It was pretty dismal the way we were treated. The room needed some update, mix and match furniture, bed was very comfortable and shower was good.
