Money missing from hotel room

Great hotel and location
Except had over $800 Australian taken from my bag when I left for breakfast - only had my iPhone with me when I went downstairs at hotel for breakfast .
My friend had taken her bag with wallet inside and gave key at reception for the 1/2 hr period .
We returned back to the room and grabbed by cross body bag with black wallet inside (15 x 10cm)
We left for Louvre and in return I said to my friend I need to exhange some $ - found a foreign exchange place and I unzipped my bag & unzipped my wallet - only to find my cash missing
Devasting news in day 2 in Paris .

I loved my stay in this hotel and will definitely come back in the future. It’s conveniently located within a few minutes’ walk from Galeries Lafayette and Palais Garnier with lots of public transportation nearby. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was convenient and had a good selection including croissants, pain au chocolate, cheeses, yogurt, among other things. Front desk was also incredibly helpful. After online check-in, they sent me a list of recommendations for my trip and even booked a taxi for me from the hotel to CDG airport on my last day.

Well located, satisfied.

Beautiful hotel just steps from the Opéra Garnier, the Mogador theater, and the department stores.
Spacious room, clean, and contemporary. Good welcome, good breakfast, nothing to report, no noise disturbances. The only downside is the room for three with a double bed and a single bed of 80 cm (our 18-year-old son did not sleep well).
4 stars well deserved; elevator, accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Nice hotel in a quiet area with great staff to help you with anything. A few minute walk to 2 train lines and the Lafayette Galeries. Don’t be surprised at how tiny things will be, but definitely choose a street view room as it is more spacious than the courtyard. The showers sucked and you get water everywhere. Didn’t really eat the breakfast besides a croissant and fruit on the go, but is light and decent overall. I recommend for the price and location!
