Horrible!

Horrible. The photos do not correspond at all to reality. The word "unhealthy" would not be enough to describe the place. If you like to sleep in hair and dirt, this is the perfect place. In addition, the smell of cigarettes invades you as soon as you arrive.
I am very disappointed and shocked that this place can still be proposed. A cleanliness inspection should pass...

Don't go there! Bedbugs, Poor hygiene, poor maintenance, unprofessional management.

The first room I got didn't look like the pictures, was old, decrepit and not quite clean, lots of noise from the street and other rooms but for this price at this location you can't expect much.
However, the bed turned out to be full of bedbugs and in the morning I had numerous bites and such an allergic reaction that I needed medical attention.
I then got another room on the third floor (without elevator). This room was really very dirty (mold, blood traces on the wall, rotten wood) and had problems with the electrical cabling among other things in the bathroom.
The reaction of the staff about the bedbugs: first they accused me of bringing in the bedbugs myself, then there was a story that my reaction was an allergy to something outside the hotel, then they said they would bag everything from the room, throw it away and call the control company, and then a new version where they would leave everything in the room so that the products of the treatment would work better. Completely implausible and unprofessional.

Bed bugs and uncomfortable bed

The old hotel, the rooms and the uncomfortable bed and also there were bed bugs in the room and the hotel was not responsible for the dives that produced us. He wouldn't pay us back. And we also had to change hotels in the middle of the night.

Bed bugs in bed

Bed bugs were on the bed. We had to leave in the early morning because the bed was with bed bugs. They promised us they'd give us the money back and they didn't. They do not respond to booking or our messages. I ended up in the ER because of all the stings I had. They're staters. I don't recommend it.

Unpleasant experience

I had a very unpleasant experience at the Hippodrome Hotel, booked via Booking.com. From the first night, I was confronted with a bedbug infestation which not only disrupted my sleep but also caused multiple bites and a severe allergic reaction. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue with management, the staff denied the existence of bedbugs and refused any refunds, despite photographic evidence. Additionally, after Booking.com agreed to refund me, the hotel attempted to charge me a “no-show” fee. Totally unacceptable customer service and poor handling of serious health and safety issues.
