What a wonderful hotel!
Travelled to Paris for a few days with my 12 year old daughter. We loved this hotel! I didn't want a generic type hotel, I wanted something a bit different and this fit the bill perfectly! Spotlessly clean, wonderful atmosphere, great value for money, lovely buffet breakfast and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We had a twin room with a good sized bathroom with bath and shower, which was unexpected. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but there is coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water available in the breakfast room until midnight. The hotel is a comfortable walk to Opera/Palais Garnier and Galerie Lafyette but far enough away to be quiet after a days sightseeing. Small restaurants and supermarkets are all around so there is no problem finding meals or snacks on the doorstep.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for B&B facilities on the edge of the sights.

4 star? More like 2.5
In no way is this a 4-star hotel. I would rate it 2.5 to 3 stars at most. We stayed for six nights.
Positives: The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The location is also good, about a five-minute walk from the Grands Boulevards area.
Negatives: The hotel is very old and badly needs updating. Our room was extremely small for two people and felt more like a single room than a double. There was barely enough space for our luggage. The bathroom was also tiny, and the shower was clogged on our first night, although to their credit, it was fixed within a day.
Overall, I was disappointed with the condition and size of the room, especially for a supposedly 4-star hotel. There are plenty of 3-star hotels in the same neighborhood that, just from looking inside, appeared newer and better maintained. The friendly staff and convenient location were the best parts of our stay, but the hotel itself does not deserve a 4-star rating.

Good staff, bad facility.
First the positive aspects: the staff is kind and friendly. Then the negative ones: in a four-star hotel I definitely expect something better. Tiny room, bathroom and shower extremely small (and initially drainage problems in the shower, resolved in 2 days). No refrigerator. Cleaning so-so. I don't like complaining, but I hope this is helpful to someone else. Some 3-star hotels in the area are definitely better. I don't think I will go back there

Dont waste ur money there! That s all i can say. This is a 3 star hotel with unfriendly non compassionate staff

Location and Staff are the selling point!
There were good points and bad points.
The hotel is in the perfect spot for exploring on foot. We got an Uber to the Eiffel Tower and it was £12. An Uber from Charles de Gaulle to the hotel was about £41 everything else we walked. The room is basic. No satellite TV so all French TV channels (not a huge problem but nice to have TV in the morning for news etc), no fridge and no kettle.
We stayed on the 5th floor and the room was clean and tidy and the bathroom although tiny was absolutely fine. The shower head could do with being replaced for sure. The room was cleaned every day.
The breakfast was basic and personally I don’t feel worth the 18 euros considering there are gorgeous places to eat within walking distance all hours of the day and night! We went down at 8ish everyday and there wasn’t bacon left once and it was never replaced. The food was tasty but basic. It’s a coffee machine for the coffee and it was ok!
The rooms have air con and in 35 degree heat that’s amazing. There is a lift thankfully as it’s a winding staircase!
I think the decor makes it look older than it is because it’s a retro kind of feel, this didn’t bother me it had character.
The location feels very safe and it’s so quiet, it’s nice to be away from the hustle and bustle at night we had the windows open and barely heard anything.

I don’t think the French star system and the UK star system are the same because it wouldn’t be a 4 Star hotel in the UK but honestly I absolutely would stay again based on the staff and location.
