A hidden gem in Paris – a wonderful discovery!
We stayed at the Hôtel Regent’s Garden while visiting friends in Paris with young adults, and it was a fantastic discovery.
Having stayed in Paris at least twice a year for more than 20 years, I know many excellent boutique hotels, particularly in the 6th arrondissement. I can honestly say that the Regent’s Garden is a real gem and one I would happily return to.
The location is excellent — just a short walk from Place des Ternes, with easy access to public transportation, while being tucked away on a very quiet street. It offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful atmosphere while still being perfectly located for exploring Paris.
Our rooms were surprisingly spacious for Paris, and the hotel’s garden is a lovely place to relax after a busy day in the city. Another major plus is the private parking in the hotel’s courtyard, which is a rare and very convenient feature in Paris.
But what really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful, which created a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel.
After many years and countless stays in Paris, it is always a pleasure to discover a new address that genuinely stands out. The Regent’s Garden is definitely one of those places — highly recommended!

Our wonderful experience at Hotel Regent's Garden
Hotel Regent's Garden-Astotel was the hotel my wife and I stayed in as a newly married couple fifty years ago; so naturally, to celebrate our 50th we chose to return to Paris and stay at the Regent's Garden.
Our experience there was a wonderful home-coming. The Hotel staff was warm and welcoming and we found flowers, champagne, and a thoughtful contratulatory note waiting for us in our room.
The hotel has many advantages. The front desk is approached from a small courtyard away from the street and projects the welcoming feeling of an inn where everyone is known and at home. It is conveniently located within an easy walk of Place de l' Etoile and is surrounded by nice cafes and rstaurants--as a visitor to Paris would expect. Importantly, our room was quiet and cooled to perfection as we returned from long 36 degree (C) day walks. The breakfasts were tasty, copious and well presented both inside and in an outside garden courtyard.
As we left it was as if we were leaving family. We were sorry to go but know that that is the place we will stay whenever we are in Paris.

An incredible and high-quality concept.
We were welcomed like royalty!!
The hotel staff was more than attentive and accommodating.
We were able to leave our luggage before and after our reservation!!
Breakfast is at a very affordable price (finally a hotel that respects its customers) and everything is provided regardless of your tastes.
The rooms are spacious with self-service drinks in the mini-bar (included in the price). You really feel very good there.
And then, the best part: there are all-you-can-eat snacks (and very generous) from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. AND above all you can enjoy them in all ASCOTEL hotels in Paris, so even while out and about, if you have a little hunger, a pressing urge you can go to one of the hotels. We simply found it great.
ASCOTEL hotels will undoubtedly become our vacation spot.
A big THANK YOU to the teams present and especially to the morning and afternoon hostesses.

Charming hotel
I recently stayed for two nights in late July. It was my first trip to France and I had a great stay! Over the course of the month, I stayed at three different Astotel properties, and this hotel location was unique with its garden setting. The neighbourhood is charming, close to everything, but the hotel itself feels calm and quiet. I found the area safe and the hotel was clean and tidy. I stayed on my own for most of my stay (as a young woman) and felt perfectly secure and well-cared for. The room was quite large for Paris, although the WC/shower room felt a bit small. The air conditioning worked well during the heat wave! The free drinks each day were a nice touch. As someone with food allergies (notably nuts) it was a bit harder for me to take advantage of the afternoon snack bar, but I was able to find enough “safe” foods to have breakfast at the hotel each morning before starting my day. The staff at the hotel reception were kind and courteous. Merci, Hotel Regent’s Garden Astotel!
