Great customer service; the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The rooms are very small, though — so small that it’s hard to keep luggage out and still move around.
One odd thing: you can clearly hear people in the hallway, the elevator, and every time a door opens or closes from your room, even though you thankfully can’t hear anyone once they’re inside their rooms. On our second night, the hallway noise made it tough to sleep, though I’m not sure what the hotel could realistically do about loud guests coming in and out all night.
The location is nice and reasonably close to the Eiffel Tower — about a 15-20 minute walk. Most other major sights (the Louvre, Notre‑Dame, the Catacombs) are a much longer walk, around 40-60 minutes. There’s a metro station nearby if you’re up for using it; otherwise, be prepared for a bit of a hike. That said, the price was reasonable compared to other hotels we looked at, and Paris is very walkable. Exploring on foot ended up being a great way to experience the city.

A fabulous hotel with just the best staff

What a tremendous “find”, this quaint hotel, is not the biggest but it has a real heart…its staff!
The staff are tremendous, nothing is too much bother, always a happy smiling disposition!
Reception lady when checked in was so helpful and set the tone for the rest of the stay giving useful advice when asked.
The breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable especially sat outside in the courtyard. Excellent food, good selection available that accounted for all tastes. The ladies preparing and serving the food were just fantastic, full of laughter and beaming smiles.
I really do recommend this hotel, great location close to a splendid little restaurant ( a must go to!) and close to all transport (around the corner from the Duplex M station) making accessing Paris a breeze.

Street noise a problem.

I spent 3 nights here in May. it was a single room which had a double bed in it which was great. the staff were all really helpful and friendly. the breakfast buffet had a great selection of food particularly if you had gluten or dairy intolerances. its located a few minutes walk from several metro stations and is about 12 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. All very positive however I got little to no sleep due to street noise. Deliveries to surrounding businesses and what sounded like construction work left me still awake at 5am. Rue Juge is not a quiet street. If i had known it would continue like that for 3 nights I would have requested to change rooms if there was availability. Disappointed and frustrated.
