Great welcoming and family room

The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting the town. Everything was walkable. The quality of the facilities and the maintenance of the room and hotel was excellent for such an old Building. nice car park with the only negative was it was a bit small. the receptionist had a car parked in a space and moved it for us to be able to park, which was amazing.
I don’t recall the room being advertised with air conditioning but I had an air-conditioning unit in there which was a life saver. The annex in the family area was a little bit warmer but had a velux Window that you could open when the Sun went down, being able to cool the room a little bit.

Best breakfast in the region

We went there only for breakfast and it was perfect in every way. Warm welcome with very pleasant, helpful hostesses, and the owner came to see us for a few moments to chat with us.
Well-stocked buffet with high-quality products.
Quiet and pretty setting both inside and outside. We will be back!

This is a pleasant characterful property, with the sort of period charm we prefer rather than clincal modernity.
The check-in was efficient and welcoming.
Our top floor room was spacious and comfortable wth a good sofa as a bonus.
The breakfast was continental, with no hot options as expected. The only thing that stopped this from being 5star is that, despite nice touches like an orange juicing machine and plum moelleux cake, there was less than average choice of standard items of prepared fruit and pastries.
This was just a stopover for us on the way back to the ferry from Switzerland, so we didn't spend time in the town other than to view the river from the bridge, and enjoy the local cuisine and ambience at the Bonaventure in the main square.

Beautiful hotel, nice property, easy parking with possibilities to charge your electric car. Friendly personnel and clear instructions. Nice room, only missing the airconditioner. Good breakfast. Overall good experience.

Nice quiet hotel

Really lovely quiet hotel in the middle of an oasis of a park. Lovely clean rooms and very charming jugend style.
Breakfast is with delicious freshly brewed orange juice and good coffee. Nice selection of bread and accessories. However, the eggs are hard-cooked and cold and green inside - and I couldn't get fresh-cooked soft-cooked eggs when I asked for it.
