Excellent stay!
Second stay at this hotel. Very well located, 2mn walk from train station and 5mn from shops/ restaurants and historic centre.
Privilege room was quite large, clean and comfortable. Large selection of pillows. Nespresso machine and minibar.
We didnt use the breakfast (lots bakeries nearby) but had cocktails at the bar and they were tasty.

Conveniently located at 5 minutes walking distance from Rennes Gare (Railway Station). If you arrive at Rennes Airport, take bus C6 until Place de la République (from there 10-15 minutes to the hotel). Rooms are spacious and sufficiently equipped. Free of charge still water in the mini bar on a daily basis. There are an indoor Pool and Spa facilities (treatments to be booked at reception). Breakfast is excellent, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. Lots of cheeses and breads.

Room was very spacious. Staff was very friendly and tries to help.
However, the hotel only has very thick and warm duvets which are impossible to sleep with in the summer without full on air con: not only this is extremely environmentally unfriendly, I cannot sleep with air con as it severely irritates my throat and nose. Staff could not find an alternative as they have no blankets or thin duvets. This is unacceptable, in particular for a 4 star hotel.

average hotel well located
a hotel without much charm but very well located in the immediate vicinity of the train station. the welcome is quite average, and one wonders about the usefulness of all these steps to climb before accessing the reception.
the swimming pool with mandatory swim caps will put some people off. As a result, we did not go.
for the room, we had chosen a suite, in a duplex. the bathroom is upstairs and the rather steep stairs are not practical with luggage. the room is dark, even stifling in the downstairs room, and the decoration is really outdated and not in the theme. the bedding is good in the top bed but not particularly comfortable for the sofa bed. a tea and coffee area is available. The bathroom is pleasant, there are enough towels.
For breakfast, which is good, there was no one on duty and we had to go bother the receptionist to find someone to seat us. The guests were waiting in line. The waitress was sulking.
In short, a not very expensive, fairly average hotel, very well located next to the train station. It should be classified as 3 stars rather than 4. We will try another one during our next stay in Rennes.

Modern hotel located within walking distance of the train and bus station. We took the bus to Mount-Saint-Michael, convenient for visiting the abbey. The staff was friendly and helpful. Spacious room with comfortable bed, Nespresso machine very gradita.Insonorizata , we did not hear any noise. Room and bathroom all clean. Bathroom with spacious overhead shower. We visited the main tourist attractions and the city all on foot. I recommend this hotel where my husband and I spent a nice holiday.
