Watch out, gem!!

As soon as you pass through the gate, you feel good. The garden is beautiful, the pool with its slate-colored bottom is absolutely stunning, and the lovely 18th-century building exudes incredible charm.
The decor has been done with great taste: a very successful mix of beautiful antique pieces and contemporary designer furniture, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and warm.
The lunch was a true moment of pleasure. A favorite for the cod back cooked at low temperature, accompanied by perfectly tender vegetables. As for the pavlova… what a delight! Light, indulgent, perfectly balanced: undoubtedly one of the best I have ever tasted.
The hosts are very kind and welcome you with simplicity and generosity. Their love for the place is felt in every detail and makes the stay particularly pleasant. A special mention goes to the beautiful house dog who comes to greet you with great gentleness and adds an extra touch of charm to this lovely interlude.
I also had the chance to visit a few rooms, and they reflect the essence of the place: refined, elegant, and incredibly welcoming.
A rare place where one immediately feels at home. A very nice address that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Hotel In a class of its own.

Simple subline from the moment you're greeted by Stephan and Eric their sole aim is to make you relax and indulge your experience in their truly wonderful hotel. Nothing is to much trouble from advising on places to visit and recommendations to local restaurants when the dinning room is closed. As previously mentioned the pool is gorgeous we loved the temperature of the water complete with generous towels and chilled both still and sparkling water.
We shall return!!

Delicious literally and figuratively

A delightful 3 night stay in this sober and chic hotel in the heart of an elegantly appointed countryside. From near and far, everything is beautiful without ostentation. Everything is good too! Stéphane is an excellent cook and pastry chef worthy of the greatest. Eric offers beautiful itineraries to discover the region. Both are in the care of their guests. A rare address.

Haven of peace out of time where you feel at home from the first seconds. The welcome, the kindness, the availability of Eric and Stephane who have only one objective that of making your stay unforgettable make this stay an enchanted break where we are already looking forward to return.

Charming & well appointed independent hotel ran by the most charming couple, 100% recommend!!

This is an extremely charming, well decorated, and comfortable hotel. I would particularly like to thank Eric and Stéphane, for their incredible, friendly hospitality, and amazing home meals.
We had the pleasure to stay for two nights, as part of a short break to Normandy. We chose to eat in the restaurant both nights, and we had the pleasure to have two completely separate menus, as the menu changes regularly. The food was absolutely delicious, very well presented, and had a small but delicious menu option choices. A shout out to Frederique, who served us each night!
The hotel has been recently lovingly restored, with a delightful mix of new and old as part of the interior design. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable, with an excellent mattress that gave us both a full night sleep! The downstairs lounge area is very comfortable, and it was lovely to have an open fire to give both warmth and extra charm during the evening.
The hotel is fairly easy to get to, but be aware that there is a relatively narrow gateway & down a slope to get to the car park and hotel entrance. There is plenty of car parking, and although our stay was at the start of March, the gardens are pleasantly laid out, and in warmer months I’m sure the pool and pool house would be a worthwhile addition to any stay.
Eric was kind enough to help us select a local Horse riding school, and also giving us advice for having lunch and exploring the local town.
We will definitely be returning, and hope to enjoy Eric and Stéphane’s company again!
