Very, very helpful staff when I had a problem in the morning trying to pay.
Sent me a new link and explained how to pay with a different card which worked instantly. I normally use this place as a stop off so I can get the boat back to Guernsey the following morning. Or get my train down south.. never experienced any problem with these guys, asking you’ll get. Top marks..

Avoid
The bedroom mattress was particularly uncomfortable, way too soft (either the mattress was way too old or the bedding was of very poor quality, in any case unacceptable for a hotel at $140 a night), and yet we are used to being on call in hospital rooms.
Despite several calls, there was no attempt by management to resolve the situation; they didn't even understand the problem and simply remade the bed.
To finish, the room is small, as is the bathroom, which smells of dampness.
In the end, we simply slept poorly, but an elderly person or someone who already has back problems would have had their week ruined by the experience.
I strongly advise against it

Concernant la literie, nous sommes toutefois surpris par votre commentaire. Dès votre signalement, notre équipe est intervenue dans votre chambre afin de vérifier le lit et de s'assurer qu'aucun élément n'était défectueux. Le matelas n'a présenté aucune anomalie particulière. Notre literie est de très bonne qualité et est contrôlée régulièrement.
Le confort d'un matelas reste néanmoins une appréciation très personnelle : certains voyageurs préfèrent une literie plus ferme, d'autres plus souple.
Concernant la taille de la chambre et de la salle de bain, celles-ci correspondent aux surfaces indiquées de manière transparente sur l'annonce au moment de la réservation.
Nous prenons enfin note de votre remarque concernant l'odeur d'humidité afin de la vérifier avec notre équipe technique.

Nous sommes désolés que votre séjour n'ait pas pleinement répondu à vos attentes.
Concernant les nuisances sonores, notre établissement est effectivement situé au-dessus d'un bar qui propose ponctuellement des animations. Nous comprenons que cela puisse ne pas convenir à tous les voyageurs. Toutefois, la musique est habituellement interrompue aux alentours de 22 h afin de préserver la tranquillité de chacun. Après cet horaire, il peut subsister quelques échanges entre les derniers clients ou le temps nécessaire au rangement de l'établissement, mais les animations musicales ne se prolongent pas jusqu'à minuit.
Après vérification auprès du bar, le Why Not, qui fait partie de notre groupe, il apparaît que la musique a été arrêtée conformément aux horaires habituels.
Nous prenons également note de votre remarque concernant l'insonorisation. Il s'agit d'un point sur lequel nous poursuivons nos améliorations afin d'offrir un confort toujours plus appréciable à nos voyageurs.
Nous espérons malgré tout avoir l'occasion de vous accueillir de nouveau dans de meilleures conditions.

2 night stay in saint malo
Location: many restaurant nearby, 5mins walk from Gare de saint malo
Atmosphere: good interior design, large window
Rooms: drainage smell but window could be open in toilet, flys will came from window, only one tiny garbage bin in toilet
It was a self service hotel, check in with passcode, only provide 3 in 1 shampoo and tea coffee, the price was supreme with good location. Noisy from the street and neighbourhood especially the door bang loud.

Size problem
Transit hotel, for 1 night. Clean, minimalist, but sufficient. However, big problem at the shower room. Too bad.
