Charming !

5 minutes walk from the beach, 2 minutes from the shops and the market, we are welcomed as at home. The rooms are of a respectable size, the bedding and decoration perfect. It’s quiet, clean and the breakfast is very original and homemade. It’s like a good hotel, but better!
Come on, we just needed a little bar of soap in the bathroom and we were perfect thank you ma'am for your welcome

Friendly, tranquil and well-located.

We struggled slightly to find decent accomodation on the island that was located in a town but eventually came across Les Mouettes and went ahead and booked for a three night stay in June.
We drove past on a couple of occasions before stumbling upon the property, there is an entrance on the road with a bell and a tiny Les Mouettes sign, however, the owner was soon welcoming us and our car into the property. She was very friendly and explained the room, entrance and exit and breakfast arrangements in nice detail (in French).
The room was clean and functional, exactly what we were looking for. The outside space is exactly as shown in the photos. On our visit their were only one other set of guests so the place was very quiet..apart from a two hour burst of frog noise in the evenings. You can, however, watch the cats doing their circuit of the pond. There was definitely an informal air to the place so it might not suit everyone.
We arranged breakfast for 8.30 and promptly at that time the table was set and a lovely spread of bread, cheese, jam, cakes, coffee and orange juice was provided. This was perfect for us, slightly too much food but it did change slightly each day.
The accommodation is a five minute walk from the sea and maybe slightly longer to the harbour. There is a close by supermarket and bakery and we used a local cycle shop to hire bikes.
Les Mouettes proved perfect for us and we would like to thank the owners for their hospitality.

Very nice B&B

We spent 5 nights there.
The owner was very nice and friendly.
Our room was very cozy and super clean, with a big bathroom and great shower.
Every morning, the nice lady prepared our breakfast and cooked homemade cakes, muffins, flans...
Located in the center of ''La Côtinière'', you have a quick access to the port, where you can find some good restaurants.
Highly recommended !!!

Well appointed B & B

This B & B is within easy walking distance of the lovely port of La Cotiniere. The room is tastefully furnished with excellent bathroom facilities. Outside there is an unusual Eco pool with accompanying wildlife. Lovely to sit outside to enjoy breakfast with the birds flying down to drink at the pool. The hostess is charming and endeavours to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The frogs in the pool croak at night but stop around midnight so our sleep was undisturbed. We enjoyed our stay very much.
