Anytime again!
The hotel room was very clean and cozy. There were storage facilities for our motorcycles.
Outdoor area invites you to relax. The pool and mountain views highlight the whole thing.
One evening there was a fantastic 3 course menu.
We would definitely come back.

A nice stopover in Ubaye
The room is spacious with a very large 1.80m bed, very comfortable bedding and a very pleasant shower with regulated water temperature, very pleasant after long walks in the snow.
The room is cleaned every day and the bed is made again, we have never seen this in a guest house, although we have done a lot of it all over France!
As for walks (we don't ski), Michel gave us good hiking advice and we did 2 sublime routes at the foot of the peaks. The Ubaye valley is truly a magnificent region.
As for catering, the breakfasts are great with excellent gingerbread prepared by Julie. Let's move on to the table d'hôte which unfortunately we were only able to try once because Julie being a freelance nurse, she has a busy schedule.
Being very picky about food and not having been convinced by the different restaurants around, I put a little pressure on my expectations. Julie did very well with a very good menu and an excellent meal for a price I must say well below its value.
If I can just add a small downside (perhaps it's a misunderstanding), we would have appreciated an aperitif and wine extra of course, Michel having a magnificent cellar worth the detour which he only lights in the evening. That said, Michel did us the pleasure of offering us an excellent glass of Génépi from his recipe.
It is certain that we will do "stopover in Ubaye" again soon, this time in the summer version...
