Nice hotel. Stayed only one night and slept well.
Unpretentious wearing its star well and seems to be improving.

It will be better afterwards..

Two hysterical, condescending, and vulgar waitresses.. an ignorant boss who thinks he is a Michelin-star chef from the 16th arrondissement of Paris despite the banality of his menu..
The icing on the cake, BFM TV on a loop in the background.. and a lovely group of local winners who are drunk at the counter. But yes, a great moment of French brasserie...

Charming welcome, comfortable room, renovated. Tray with kettle, coffee tea. Perfect location to visit the abbey and Saint Savin. Very quiet.

Friendly drinks service

Came here for a drink a couple of times. Well priced drinks, friendly service, and a good bunch of regular local custom. Nice seating area outside and cosy indoor bar. The square on which this sits is a good location for a few other restaurants and close to the river.

A happy stay

We have just spent three very happy days at this welcoming and cheerful little hotel, and would recommend it highly. Our room on the second floor was comfortable and spotless - all the bedrooms have been recently completely renovated - and the view from the window over the square towards the Abbey was lovely. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed generous breakfasts and good dinners out on the terrace in the square. This is a family-run hotel and we, and our dog, were made to feel very much 'at home'. There were beautiful walks along the river just a couple of minutes from the hotel, which is situated right in the centre of this lively little town.
