Classic French aristocracy looking after your every need

Arrived here on bicycles after a long day riding. Mme de Vitton was the most gracious and welcoming person we met in two weeks. She saw that we needed a beer and she provided it, with glasses, in the garden. Then she said we looked tired and she would make dinner for us! The gite in which we stayed was well appointed and even had a TV for us to watch football. Supper was traditional French farm food along with three wines and all imaginable other stuff. We rolled out of there. In the morning breakfast was ready and we were treated like other aristocracy. What a delight this was. Merci Mme!

Could have been a great stay but room desperately hot.

Difficult review, as we arrived by bike on a VERY hot day. Whilst the air temperature was mid 30's the room was in low 40's as it was in the eaves of the building with a huge Velux window facing directly into the sun. With no air con and only a fan despite everything we tried it only got down to a comfortable temperature to sleep by 02:30 in the morning.
Had we arrived on a cooler day we would have said room was comfortable, location nice in countryside near to charming little town of Segre, and a nice breakfast where we chatted with the host.

Un Havre de paix !!!

Ancien presbytere rénové avec enormement de gout !
Un lieu paisible et rempli de charme !
Un Havre de paix où tout de suite on se sent bien !
Parfait pour récupérer d une grosse journée de travail ou s évader en amoureux .
Acceuil chaleureux,chambre spacieuse et très élégante .une literie parfaite!
Petit déjeuné très bien avec des produits frais et du fait maison !
Je recommande vivement ce lieu d exception !
Moi qui fait beaucoup d hôtels ce site fait partit de ce que j ai pu faire de mieux !

Au calme,séjour exceptionnel

Séjour excellent dans un petit coin de paradis. Ici on oublis le monde extérieur et on éliminé toute pensée négative. L'accueil est chaleureux,la chambre propre avec une sdb nickel. Dans la chambre on trouve une bouilloire et du thé, du café, du sucre,des tasses . Le lit est impeccable avec une très bonne matelas. On trouve aussi une télé et une très bonne wifi.
Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel avec de très bons produits. On peut choisir l'heure du déjeuner et ce qu'on veut consommer. Une cuisine est à notre disposition si on veut cuisiner. Les alentours sont agréables, remplis de verdure, avec une rivière à 200 m du gîte. On peut se promener en toute tranquillité à pied ou à bicyclette. On peut aussi pêcher.Si on veut rester dans la chambre, une bibliothèque est à notre disposition.
On repart ressourcés et avec des bons souvenirs. On va revenir l'année prochaine.

Endroit magnifique

Nous avons profité de ce bel endroit à l’occasion des 95 ans de notre grand mère. Lieu très bien entretenu chargé d’histoire. Chambre superbe qui nous plonge dans le charme de l’ancien. Week end dépaysant.
